If your daughter is a child and you both qualify, you can choose to buy tickets with her. If she’s put in a higher category, you’re allowed to buy one with her in the same category.

Thanks for the responses Mark, Steen & Matthew. I was not a member for Russia so managed to get all those tickets by luck in the FIFA draw or luck buying "elsewhere" but Portugal definitely the ESTC was a big benefit obviously.

I cant think of a fairer way that the FA or supporters club could have done this based on the current way that tickets are allocated (Which itself makes it difficult to break into the higher number of caps over what can be achieved from home games when we get small away allocations that are most likely to go to the high cappers) suppose my rant is mainly aimed at UEFA.

If they really wanted fans at the stadium (so much so that they took games away from Dublin & Bilbao) and want to limit travel (so much so that they canceled my FMT ticket to the semi at Wembley!) why the heck would they not just prioritise giving as many tickets as possible to the local member fan clubs rather than just reducing the tickets all by the same percentage (in wembleys case 75%). I would have thought giving the ESTC 50% and the opposing team 50% of the non corporate/non UEFA family tickets (and reducing those by more than 75%) would give the goals of getting true fans at the game to make an atmosphere and reducing random travel from all corners of Europe of fans that got tickets through the UEFA ballot.

Anyway its obviously a bad situation in which it was impossible to come out with everyone happy and unfortunately I am one of those who is likely to be unhappy.

I was hoping the longer the ballot took to be done, the better chance of Wembley capacity being increased for the Group games, considering the FA Cup final is having exactly the same size crowd , but a month earlier. But, unfortunately Ive not seen any hint that that may happen.

Nothing is making sense anymore Peter .
I’m going to a funeral next Tuesday where 50 people are allowed into a pub for a wake and buffet who can have a drink but the other 1/4 of the pub were people who are in just for food can’t drink

    Go figure that one out

    In reply to Adrian Gunner:

There is no reason why the ballots can't be done today and the results announced. The FA know exactly who is in the ballots. It would give members the opportunity to plan, especially those who have to travel some distance to Wembley. As a top capper, I know that I will be OK for tickets. But I go to home matches with my son who is a medium / low capper and I would like to know whether he is still coming with me for the group matches.

However, the post-ballot ticket sales window should not and will not be opened until time has been allowed for everyone to have received their refund from UEFA for the cancelled tickets. Otherwise people would rightly complain about having to stump up money for the new ticket allocation before they have had the money back from the refund.

Unless I've missed something (I could have easily done) have the ESTC team announced that all the ticket data has been received from UEFA?

If they have this then absolutely they'll know who is in the 70% and the ticket cats etc but without that as a starting point then surely it'll be impossible to run any meaningful and accurate ballot?

Again apologies if UEFAs ticket information is out there. If it is can someone share please?

    In reply to David Lilley:

Morning David, there was a time when you could ring ESTC and ask specific questions, alas seems to be not available right now for obvious reasons, so i figured you might have the answer or shed some light on my query.

My initial allocation was 1st & 2nd group games, R16 semi & final, shortly after i contacted them, requesting to be added to the waiting list having then decided to go to 3rd group game and 1/4 final, as we now know all tickets have been cancelled and we are to enter into the 70, 20, 10 ballot, which imo is fair enough. My query is are we re-entered into each and every ballot for each group game, or just for the original game in which we were allocated a ticket?

    Nobby (still on tour)

Hi Matt, hope your keeping well

Sounds as though you remained on the waiting list for those games you didn't initially apply for and, even after changing your mind, were never allocated a ticket for these games Nobby?

That being the case, I think it's doubtful you'll be entered into the ballot for the specific games you didn't get tickets for as all the blurb states 'ticket allocated'.

There was a get out for those top cappers who were placed on the waiting list due to them mistakingly applying through the UEFA portal in their application but this does not seem to be the case with you as you successfully applied for other tickets via the ESTC portal.

    Stay well Nobby.
