Yeh just come through - I can’t see it going ahead with fans anyway but at least it gives people a choice now . I suppose they are hoping those who return now will help if they are able to run certain games with reduced capacity

I just got one as well. I'm a bit worried about the way they've written the refund policy.

    E.g.

If UEFA notifies the Successful Applicant that their Ticket(s) is valid for the re-scheduled venue for the
Match then where the change of venue was made for:
    (a) any reason of Force Majeure*, no refunds shall be made; or...

    Or this...

In the event of the postponement of the Match before kick-off for a reason of Force Majeure*, the Ticket
will be valid for the rearranged playing of the Match. The Successful Applicant will not be entitled to a
refund of the Tickets if the Successful Applicant is unable to attend the rearranged playing of the Match

*For the purposes of this refund policy, “Force Majeure” means any event affecting UEFA EURO 2020,
the relevant Match and/or the relevant Stadium arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions or
accidents which are beyond the reasonable control of UEFA and/or the relevant Host Association
including, without limitation, any strike or labour disturbance, fire, abnormally inclement climate
conditions, flood, lightning, storm, explosion, earthquake, subsidence, structural damage, EPIDEMIC, PANDEMIC or other natural physical disaster, riot, disease, civil commotion or armed conflict, war or
(actual, anticipated or threatened) terrorist action.

so basically you get a refund if behind closed doors or capacity reduced

but if moved anywhere else in Europe you either go or lose all cash

i might be on my own thinking this but were in the middle of a global pandemic and all but essential travel is advised in most countries so why EUFA cant just make a decision to postpone it or play behind closed doors and let people no so they can start getting refunds fom air fares hotels etc what theyv got probably hundreds of pounds tied up in and will help most families out right now

And if they change the date and you are unable to make it you're screwed! Legally they are just doing everything to cover themselves but that would be so unfair if you aren't able to attend because they've changed the date or venue and you lose £100.

Funny they hide all that in the small print but in the summary of changes just highlight the things that make it sound reasonable

    Summary of changes

    Ticket transfer for medical reasons

Should you or your guests no longer be able to attend UEFA EURO 2020™ for medical reasons, including COVID-19, you will have the option to transfer the ticket(s) to friends or family members.

Sanitary measures and country specific regulations

All ticket holders will be required to observe any sanitary measures and policies which are in place in the context of COVID-19 at the UEFA EURO 2020™ stadiums, or which are required to gain access to the UEFA EURO 2020™ stadiums. In addition, the terms and conditions now make it clear that ticket holders will be obliged to comply with any specific official rules that are applicable when entering any of the UEFA EURO 2020™ host countries from abroad.

    Fan ID – Saint Petersburg

Fans attending matches in Saint Petersburg (including Russian citizens and residents) will require a FAN ID to enter the stadium. The FAN ID is also considered as a visa for non-Russian citizens and residents.

    Privacy and data

The privacy notification and privacy provisions of the ticketing terms and conditions have also been amended to reflect the current COVID-19 situation, specifically with regards to sanitary measures.

    Stadium capacity restrictions and refunds

In the event UEFA has to cancel your ticket order(s) as a result of a stadium capacity reduction or as a result of the match having to be played ‘behind closed doors’, the refund policy now specifies that you will be entitled to receive a full refund of your ticket price.

The refund policy also now specifically refers to a ‘pandemic’ in the definition of force majeure.

Well that’s fook in disgusting isn’t it?!

UEFA really have us by the balls here don’t they?!

I’ve booked for a group of 4 and opinion is divided. Too angry to read the T&C’s in full right now, but can anyone tell me if they allow the bookings to split?

Just spotted this also. Unbelievable that the refund policy does not stretch to a change of venue which could be potentially an alternative country. Could be a deal breaker for me.

I haven't bothered booking flights and hotels this time. Absolutely no point whatsoever until Uefa confirm where the games are being played and if crowds will actually be allowed!

Most of us will have tickets for all the Wembley games plus the semis / final
If it's this country that doesn't allow fans you may be looking at having to travel to 3 other countries for the group games, and if we ended up making the semis / final you'd lose that money as well unless you went.

There must be enough interest from people in the host countries to resell tickets should people not want to go if the venue is changed

And that e-mail is shocking, sneaking that in at the bottom with no further information to what it actually means, how many people haven't looked at the T&C's ?

I'm no expert but I wouldn't have thought terms and conditions can be changed after tickets were sold. Surely the FA will have something to say about it!
