UEFA EURO 2020

EURO 2020 FAQ page

Many of the calls and emails the England Supporters Club is receiving from members can be answered by our EURO 2020 FAQ page.

Please refer to this page in the first instance before calling or emailing for assistance. We are experiencing a very high call and email volume; to help us assist you please read all the information we've provided on the website.

In addition, NO access codes have been sent to members yet - these will be sent either later tonight before the ticket portal opens tomorrow. If you join the Travel Club after 5pm today, you'll be sent your access code on the 9th December.

Tickets are NOT allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and ONLY lead applicant needs an access code and an account on the UEFA's website.

Further information regarding ticket applications, including category splits will be published in due course.

    In reply to Andrew McCarthy:

thanks Andrew. Do you think UEFA might show some leniency with this? - with the tournament being split across 12 countries? I've booked a cheap flight to Dublin already which I can live with writing off if we don't make it there, but I know getting flights elsewhere at short notice will be £££££! If I can't sell it back to UEFA or the FA do you think it would have any bearing regarding attending the semi final or final should we make it and if I've got tickets for those games in the ballot? cheers for your help

I see that no one has replied to your query. I don't know the answer but I can't think of any reason why the child might not be added to the application of any adult member. Obviously, this would have to be with the consent of the parent / guardian. I'm 99% sure that this would be OK, but only the FA could give you a 100% answer.

Essentially my question is this: If I was only able to attend a second round game if it were in Dublin or Glasgow, could I subsequently cancel my ticket if we find the game is being played in Copenhagen or elsewhere?

Tickets bought from the FA allocation in the December sale cannot be returned for a refund or re-sold to anyone else under any circumstances. This is in the ticketing T&Cs. UEFA will not be flexible.

If you have to bin your 'Round of 16' ticket because the match is in a location which you can't reach at short notice and at an affordable price, this will have no effect on any tickets which you might have for later rounds such as the semi-final and final. However, if you are caught passing your R16 ticket to anyone else, whether for a price or given away, then UEFA can cancel all of your tickets without refund.

    In reply to David Lilley:

Okay thanks for this David - I suspect there may be a few people in this predicament for the 2nd round. Ryanair had flights on sale for Dublin more than a year in advance for around £50 quid, so no doubt quite a few fans booked speculatively, as we all know that if left till we know for certain we'll be playing there it'll cost a lot more than that! One can only hope that UEFA will consider this further down the line, but having conceived the terrible idea of playing a tournament across a whole continent then I won't hold my breathe!

    In reply to Thomas Walker:

Would appreciate if anyone can help with this situation:

I was lucky enough to be allocated a ticket for the 2nd Semi Final, through the UEFA ticket ballot. That's the good news. However, I was unsuccessful through UEFA in getting a ticket for the first of the semi finals.

Reading the application rules now makes me think that I am not able to apply through Englandfans for a conditional semi final ticket. Have I understood this correctly?

I have emailed the FA with this question, as it is not specifically covered in the FAQs.

    In reply to Gary Marshall:

It is somewhere in the FAQ; I know I've seen it. You have understood correctly - you cannot apply for a conditional semi final ticket through the FA because it might end up being the same match you have already got a ticket for, so you would have two tickets for the same match, which is not allowed.

Found it - under "Ticket Limits" on this page:  http://www.thefa.com/news/2019/nov/25/euro-2020-faqs

For example, if you've already been allocated a semi-final match ticket through the general public sale, you cannot apply for a conditional semi-final through the Travel Club because of the potential clash.

Just looking at the section in the FAQs regarding personal details It says you need to contact UEFA if anything changes. I Recently renewed my passport So the passport number will be different. From when I renewed my membership when. I started my application it was the old passport number do you think we need to contact you either on this or hold tight.

    In reply to Liam Walker:

At the beginning of December, the FA uploaded a file of ESTC members to UEFA in order to get access codes for all of them. All personal details held by the FA and UEFA had to agree at that point in time otherwise you would not be able to successfully complete and submit an application. If you have submitted an application and received a confirmation email from UEFA then it looks like changing something after the data was cross-checked does not foul things up.

At some point, probably in May, you will need to download the UEFA Euro 2020 ticketing app on to your mobile phone and then register on the app. I imagine that the passport number which you include in your registration details will need to agree with the number held on the UEFA database.

It would be a good idea to send a scan of your new passport (the photo double page) to ESTC as an email attachment so that they can update their records but I don't think this is urgent.

    In reply to Matthew Isle:

Does anyone know if you can split applications ok, presumably you can as long as you don't duplicate any matches?

My 4 family members all on the same caps so likely going to do cat 2 and tick the box up/down for group games and l16.

Can my brother submit an application for the group games for him and the other 3 of us and then me do the same for the knockouts.

This way we both may have 2-4000 euros come of each of our cards rather than one of us have the entire total. I think for final and semi we'll do cat 3 up/down and if we miss out on 600/900 tickets so be it.

    Thanks,
    Ian

    In reply to Ian Campbell:

Yes, you can be on multiple applications.

Nobody can be the lead booker on more than one application. Anyone who is a lead booker on one application must be a guest on any other applications which include him.

Do be very, very careful not to include the same person on more than one application for the same match or for two matches on the same day.

With regard to the "no duplication rule", you will also need to take account of any tickets obtained through the UEFA general public lottery. This includes the requirement that anyone who has an unconditional ticket to a knock out match through the UEFA general public lottery cannot apply through the FA allocation for a conditional ticket to the same knock out round.

No luck getting in at all.
Says I have multiple accounts, wont accept me as I'm not allowing cookies, takes me to the UEFA page as me, but as soon as I click to say I'm a member of the supporters club, it logs me out.
It doesn't help that my email never turned up, so had to phone FA for access code.
