EURO 2020 FAQ page

Many of the calls and emails the England Supporters Club is receiving from members can be answered by our EURO 2020 FAQ page.

Please refer to this page in the first instance before calling or emailing for assistance. We are experiencing a very high call and email volume; to help us assist you please read all the information we've provided on the website.

In addition, NO access codes have been sent to members yet - these will be sent either later tonight before the ticket portal opens tomorrow. If you join the Travel Club after 5pm today, you'll be sent your access code on the 9th December.

Tickets are NOT allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and ONLY lead applicant needs an access code and an account on the UEFA's website.

Further information regarding ticket applications, including category splits will be published in due course.

    In reply to Ian Campbell:

    Hi Ian

In your original post you stated you decided 'to do cat 3s all the way'.

Applying for the QF on cat 3s on 12 caps would almost certainly see you miss out. Likewise with some other matches.

Not sure what you mean by 'cat e' or 'cat 4'

I'd suggest you read the advice from yesterday and tweak your application with their advice relating to 28 caps and below.

    http://www.thefa.com/news/2019/dec/12/application-update?sc_src=email_171521&sc_lid=11027299&sc_uid=ZFLW99CzY9&sc_llid=3560

Obviously don't make yourself bankrupt but maybe placate any extra ticket cost with money you've saved vs missed matches.

    Genuinely good luck.

    In reply to Matthew Isle:

    Sorry typing from my phone.

So for the group I've opted for cat 3 but ticked the box that I'll also accept cat 2. The suggestion was that those on 10caps or less should go higher so I believe that this may see us ok?

For the L16 I have done cat 3 and accept cat 2 but I will go in and upgrade this one level. We can't make the 1/8 at all.

For the semi and final there seemed to be so many cat 3 (not e) and 4 that opting for 4 and accepting 3 maybe ok? Perhaps I should go cat 3 and then accept +/- one anyway. Part of this is that I also feel that we haven't made a final in over 50 years anyway so this may well be a pay and refund exercise in any event and the cost difference is huge.

    Thanks for your help.

Probably a daft question... has anyone submitted an application directly with uefa for any tickets to other games? According to the FAQs from the FA, it seems it isn’t a problem as long as these aren’t England games or games on the same day. The UEFA portal is asking for a FAN ID number etc though so unsure whether to fill this out in case I risk my travel club application!

Maybe worth replying to the thread below as it's within the same topic...ish? And others who will have done similar?

    In reply to David Lilley:

    Hi David
I inadvertently applied for the first 2 matches at Wembley separately and received 2 emails from UEFA, the first stating the Croatia application had been submitted and another saying my application for the match v the play-off winner has been updated.
I have checked my UEFA ticketing portal and these 2 matches are not listed, although the other games i applied for are shown, and I received an email re; the 3 other games, confirming my application has been updated
The UEFA portal is giving me the opportunity to apply for the 2 games that are not listed
Any ideas on what I should do?
    Any advice is much appreciated

    In reply to David Robinson:

Presumably, each time you have entered the UEFA ticketing system, you have used the same portal and keyed in the same email address / password combination ? So you don't have more than 1 UEFA ticketing account ?

The fact that the 2nd and 3rd UEFA emails talk about an update suggests that each time you have submitted an application it has overwritten and replaced the previous application. Is this what you did ?

Application #1 You applied for the match against Croatia only.

Application #2 You deleted the match against Croatia because you already had it from the first application, and you applied for the match against Play-off winner C.

Application #3 You deleted the match against Play-off winner C because you already had it from the second application, and you applied for the other 3 matches.

Whether that's what happened or not, you should be OK to amend your application to add in the matches against Croatia and the Play-off C winner without altering the details for the other 3 matches. Remember to press "Submit Application" to make sure your amendments do register on the UEFA system. Then, check the next UEFA email to ensure that you are now signed up for all 5 matches.

If you still feel unsure about whether you have duplicate applications in place, you could email ESTC and tell them what has happened. They cannot view your application(s) which means they can't tell you whether you've done the right thing. But if it turns out that there are duplicate applications in your name they would know to accept only the latest one.

    In reply to David Robinson:

    Thanks for the info;
I only have 1 ticketing account and my main concern was that if I applied for the first 2 matches again i would have duplicate applications and would be charged twice by UEFA.
I will take your advice and amend my application and email the ESTC to let them know what happened
    Thanks again
