UEFA EURO 2020

EURO 2020 FAQ page

Many of the calls and emails the England Supporters Club is receiving from members can be answered by our EURO 2020 FAQ page.

Please refer to this page in the first instance before calling or emailing for assistance. We are experiencing a very high call and email volume; to help us assist you please read all the information we've provided on the website.

In addition, NO access codes have been sent to members yet - these will be sent either later tonight before the ticket portal opens tomorrow. If you join the Travel Club after 5pm today, you'll be sent your access code on the 9th December.

Tickets are NOT allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and ONLY lead applicant needs an access code and an account on the UEFA's website.

Further information regarding ticket applications, including category splits will be published in due course.

You're definitely using the link in the first post within this thread Neil?

Just some background, as you look to have been a member for some time, have you got/applied for UEFA tickets for previous tournaments? I.e. have you already got an account?

And have you applied in the general sale earlier this year for any tickets?

And finally how are you trying to access the link? I.e. what's your device and what's the exact error message?

    In reply to Neal Granger:

I suppose it's possible you could have more than 1 account. Did you have an account for Euro 2016 ? Did you open a new account for the Nations League or have you opened a new account recently for Euro 2020 ? I think this is something which only UEFA can help you with. Send them an urgent message via this facility :-

    support.tickets-euro2020.uefa.com/.../new

You need to ask them whether you have more than 1 account. If so, will they delete the duplicates and leave you with just 1 account. (Only UEFA can delete accounts. You can't do it yourself.) Tell them that you have an access code for Euro 2020 tickets and the account which they must leave in force should be the account associated with this access code.

Also, ask them for a link to a page where you can click "forgotten your password" so that you can re-set it.

You will need to allow cookies in order to use the UEFA ticketing site.

I'm not sure about it logging you out when you say you're a member of the supporters club. Perhaps, when the above issues are fixed, this problem won't happen any more. But you could always include this in your message to UEFA in case it's a different problem.

    Good luck !

Sorry, I meant the same person can't be the lead booker on 2 applications through the December fans' sale. He can be lead booker on 1 application in the December sale and 1 application in the summer general public sale.

Neil has reported back on the ESTC FB page that he is sorted.

Seems he already did have a further 'linked account' and has now deleted a further one.

Am not sure what that means but the main thing he is sorted.

First instance I'd check the link in the FAQ Robert. Specifically the answer to this:

Q .I get an error message on my application, what do I do?

It's a not uncommon problem and might be due to your details being inconsistent on either your ESTC profile or the UEFA portal.

    Often it's DOB.

    Good luck.

Can a member of a group application do a second solo application for a different game?
I.e. 3 people in a group. Person 1, 2 and 3 apply for 6 games on one application. Person 3 applies for a 7th game on their own application.

That's fine. As long as you are not Lead applicant on the first group application (as well as the second singular one).

Alternatively you could be Lead applicant on one group application with only you applying for game 7. But remember you would pay for everything on this allocation.

    In reply to Matthew Isle:

Sorry this is a hypothetical and not expecting anyone to know but best guess is great. Party of 4 with 12 caps and decided to do cat 3s all the way and tick the box except the semi and final (did fans first). Do you think there is much value to us splitting the application and doing 2+2 rather than 1 x 4. It would be rough to get pulled out of the ballot and them not have 4 seats together and so we get unsuccessful instead.

Aware that 2 could be successful, 2 unsuccessful etc.

    Thanks,
    Ian

    In reply to Ian Campbell:

Group size with same caps shouldn't make any difference

However it's a very, very ambitious cat selection in my opinion.

Looking at the ESTC advice you could end up being very disappointed.

Our group have far more caps and are going for less ambitious selections.

    Good luck.

    In reply to Matthew Isle:

I thought the advice for the group games was that under 10 caps should go cat 2 and tick the box so we should be ok?

For L16 I think we'll move up to cat 2 and check the box (expect to miss out anyway).

For the semi and final it seems that the vast majority are cat 3/4 and the cost is so prohibitive. I guess we should go to cat e really and then be willing to accept 2.

What do you think, thanks for the reply much appreciated.
