EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Applying for tickets

Can some of the seasoned fans clear something up for me .

If I apply for all games, is it all or nothing ?

Or should I just apply for group games as I will have more chance  . I only have 2 caps so I realise I will be very lucky to get any but finger crossed .

One more thing, will caps from this campaign carry over to the World Cup ?

Thanks

Bryan

No. You apply for each match separately and each match will be the subject of a separate ballot. Whether or not you are lucky for a particular match will have no bearing on your chances for any other match.

You need to be a member of the Travel Club in order to apply for tickets for Euro 2020 from the FA allocation. There is a membership fee of £75 and you need to be aware of the possibility of paying this fee and then getting no tickets in the ballots.

Yes, caps from the 2018-20 campaign will carry over to the 2020-22 campaign and will count towards the Nations League 2020-21, the World Cup qualifiers, and the World Cup 2022 finals tournament. This includes the 2 caps you already have plus any that you earn from the March and June friendlies next year.

Worth stating that you dont get caps for tournament games (Euros, WC and Nations League).

I am a little puzzled about the Access Code which the latest Travel Club bulletin says we receive before December 4th and which we need in order to apply for tickets.
Is this being sent to all Travel Club members with the assumption that all members will wish to attend the Tournament matches?
It seems a basic point but I can't find any mention of it in Tournament details.
I have been to previous UEFA Tournaments so I have a password to get on to the UEFA website but I assume the Access Code is something different.

Sent to all travel club members and is required to log in to the England ticket portal on the UEFA site and the Euro 2020 area in particular.

Quick question I’m on 16 caps what are my chances in getting a Cat 3 ticket for the group games? I’m bit reluctant to pay Cat two prices and i already have the last 16 cat 3 in Dublin through UEFA. Was thinking only going Cat 2 as well for quarters onward but don’t want to miss out on group games altogether.

Let's put it this way - I'll have members on my application who'll have mid 20 caps and I'll be applying for cat 3s but accepting cat 2 on my application.

Accepting only cat 3 on 16 caps could have you missing out completely which would be gutting seeing as you are guaranteed group tickets.

The good news is that it appears at least half of the England allocation will be category 3. So group games are more affordable.

In this scenario you have outlined, assuming mid 20 cappers will miss out on Cat 3 tickets, will you (due to cap differentials) get Cat 3 and the other members on your application (mid 20 cappers) get Cat 2? Or where you have said you'd accept cat 2 tickets, even though you personally would ordinally qualify for Cat 3, does this mean you would all move to Cat 2?

I’m on 24 caps and my 12 year old lad is on 10. If I apply for Category 3 tickets and one of us misses out my does that mean we both won’t get tickets?

    In reply to Tony Richardson:

You don't say for which games but even for the large allocations in the groups one could be successful and one not in the 70%.

I'd be accepting cat 2 too.

I'm on mid 50s and others in my group have slightly more than you and we are going to accept cat 2s too.

You'd be gutted if you both miss out and probably even more gutted if just your lad misses out.

    Good luck.
