England Supporters Travel Club priority sale update

Posted by Team England at 11:31 on Thursday 09 November 2017

Following feedback from England Supporters Travel Club (ESTC) members we are pleased to advise that we will re-introduce the priority ESTC only sale for the next England home game at Wembley.

Travel Club members will be able to buy up to 8 tickets for themselves and other Travel Club members only in the priority ESTC sale, which means that the most loyal members have access to the best seats before anyone else.

Once the exclusive priority ESTC sale ends, members of both the ESTC and England Supporters Club (ESC) will then be able to buy up to 8 tickets in the next sales period. Travel Club members will still be able to receive their £5 ticket discount during this second sales period (and also during the exclusive ESTC sales window).

If the ESTC only sales period proves popular for the next match then we will look to continue with this for all future England home matches. However, in the event that sales during the ESTC priority sale are very low, the ticketing process may revert back to the current method of having a joint ESTC/ESC sale.

We hope to be able to confirm the two March 2018 fixtures within the next week- including specific sale dates and further match details.

It might be "backward" step as in reverting to something that used to be done (and that was inexplicably lapsed) but that doesn't mean it's not a good step.  Those of us that pay our dues in membership (not to mention travel all over Europe!) fully deserve first dibs.

I agree with Adam; if "hardly anyone goes nowadays anyway" then it won't hurt non-TC members if they wait and get their tickets after TC members have had their window.

Credit where it's due: well done, The FA.  And please everyone in the Travel Club back this by getting your Italy tickets before our window closes on Monday lunchtime!

I've only been a member for 12 months or so but have really enjoyed the last 4 games with my son at Wembley.  Given his age and our financial situation travelling to the World Cup is not realistic.  I have been surprised at seeing empty seats at all of the matches but have seen travel club members arrive at the turnstile, register their ticket and walk off without even watching the game.  Enjoy Russia guys and I hope you stay safe.  I'll wait a few more days to buy my tickets and take what's available.
