Ballot results for our away game against Switzerland have now been released, and all members that have applied have been emailed their results today.

For our match in Basel there were just over 2,400 members who applied for the 2079 tickets available; therefore it was necessary to use the ‘caps system’ to allocate the tickets. Members who applied on 11 caps or more were guaranteed tickets (70%), whilst members on less than 11 caps were placed in a ballot for the remaining tickets (30%).

Tickets are priced at £87 for Category 1 and £34 for Category 3. The majority of our allocation are located in the Category 3 section.

How to claim your ticket

If you have been successful and still wish to attend the match you will need to claim your ticket between midday on Friday 1 August until 3.00pm on Monday 4 August 2014. You can purchase your ticket by calling the England Supporters Travel Club line from 7am to 10pm on 0844 847 2010 or alternatively log onto www.thefa.com/tickets

Please note group bookings are limited to a maximum of four members per group and each person would need to have been successful in the ticket ballot. If you wish to be seated as a group please book your seats together in one order as you will not be able to add to an existing booking at a later date. In accordance with the England Supporters Travel Club Rules of Membership; please note that tickets are for personal use only and are not transferable under any circumstances.

Second Chance Sale

Any tickets that go unclaimed will be made available to all England Supporters Travel Club members in the second chance sale on a first-come-first served basis from midday on Tuesday 5 August, via 0844 847 2010 or www.thefa.com/tickets

Remember, when you are purchasing your ticket you need to quote your FAN number. If you are claiming tickets for more than one member you will need to be able to quote the FAN numbers and dates of birth of each member of your group.

Please note that tickets will only be issued following a successful security check.

  • Bit disappointing that the FA could not negotiate for an allocation big enough to cover all interest.

    Just over 2400 members applied, this is a serious decline in numbers. Guess that is a result of an expensive year following England, the team's woeful performances, the inept customer service from the FA and just some members being slow of the mark.

    I wonder what allocation we will get for Scotland, if the FA continue to not bother with ticket negotiations we might only end up with 2-3k   :(

  • I am one if the unlucky 300. Flights booked, travel arrangements sorted, no ticket. First time travelling with England away. Paid £75 for nothing by the looks if it, thinking that this was a "banker" knowing that we only require 300 extra tickets surely there is something the fa can do? We were looking forward to a great trip away to cheer on our country, now it has left a very sour taste in the mouth. Please negotiate for 300 extra tickets fa!

  • People who haven't had an email - give them a ring or drop them an email. I've had a mail back from Adele this morning confirming that I have a ticket, and that they'll look into the non-receipt of the email. The club may have changed, but good old Adele is still sorting stuff out for us! :)

  • What is the england fans email address please? On 15 so I assume i'm okay but the rest of my party are on 11 (I think) and no email recieved.

  • Chuffed to bits i paid £75 for travel club  and cant even get a ticket, what is my membership for again.  Been to every home game in 15 years.

  • no email - no idea if I have a ticket................away from 4 Aug so miss second sale.......not happy

  • my email ended up in my spam folder so I didn't see it (this despite all other emails not going to spam, including my confirmation of my Norway ticket - very odd).  So my husband and I are one of the 300 that have our flights booked and no ticket.  I can't believe the FA can't negotiate a further 300 tickets.

  • I have asked for a membership refund if I can't get a ticket in the 2nd sale. This being my first away trip and probably last as high caps will be required for future fixtures, this has left me very disappointed with the fa. 300 extra tickets required.... Should be ashamed. Fingers crossed for Tuesday!
