EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Ticket resale sites

No tickets, which is fine given cap status etc. Any thoughts and advice on the legitimacy of resale sites such as Stub hub, live football tickets , ticombo. Given that these are desperate times any feedback on using these sites would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Ticombo is ok as long as you do the following:

    1. Pay with your credit card so you're protected in the unlikely event ticket never turns up.
    2. Only go for sellers that are listing with the red writing that says 'immediate delivery' - anyone else is probably a tout trying to buy to order. Also make sure the seller is listing a category and block number.
    3. Don't try and go for anything that looks to be good to be true, it probably is - you probably won't be conned but often these are impossible to get because everyone is clicking on them and sometimes they aren't real listing they are just fake listings that quickly disappear used to stimulate trading on the site.

Also beware there is a horrendous 20% 'handling' fee on the listed price of any ticket. i.e a £2000 listed ticket will cost you £2400.

    Good luck!

Stubhub is fine. They will refund your money if the seller is a scammer.
I've used them a few times for stuff and had no issues.

Four years ago, Ecuador coach Reinaldo Rueda was in charge of Honduras, and he experienced at first hand one of the problems of the World Cup. If the players are not used to the pressure and the glamour of the tournament, then the whole thing can pass...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Can England pass Peru's back three test?

When Peru narrowly failed to make the World Cup in 1998, their coach was Juan Carlos Oblitas, a winger from their side of the late 70s and early 80s. Oblitas remains an important voice in the Peruvian game – and he is not happy with the squad that...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Prototype Peru may prove just as welcoming to England as Wembley itself

Peru have not only been invited to Wembley this Friday to give a South American flavour to England’s World Cup send-off. Presumably, the idea is that the fans will go home happy and the team will get a pre-tournament morale boost. Only goal difference...
