ticket on twitter... transferring using Uefa app

Looking at buying a ticket off someone on Twitter and they say they can transfer it using the uefa ticketing app… Is this bullet-proof or could it be refused at the gate? Any help would be massively appreciated

    I’d be careful buying off anyone on Twitter. Loads of people being scammed. There’s a Twitter page called @WembleyTickets which is listing all the scam profiles so you might want to check that first.

    It is easy enough to transfer the ticket but there is the risk they just steal your money

    If you do choose to take this massive risk, make sure you pay via paypal goods and services, which gives you some refund protection if they don't send the ticket. If they don't accept this payment method, its almost certainly a scam. I really wouldn't risk it though, lots of them are very sophisticated, and can provide proof of purchase. Id also recommend they take a screen recording of the ticket in their app, and are able to also show your conversation with them at the same time

    9 out of 10 times it will be a scam. The only real way is to meet them in person and get them to transfer it to your email address and you claim and keep the ticket via the app there and then and give them cash.
