EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Allocation

What is the likely allocation for the travel club should we win tonight and play  our rd16 game at Wembley?

I was told there was a 12 minute queue on the UEFA ticket portal last night. God knows what they were hoping to buy or see! I went to bed. It'll be carnage on there when we find out who our opponents are. :-)
Don't you just love the chaos of tournament knock out football?

Love to get a ticket - had one originally when it was Dublin or Copenhagen- but will cope if not allocated one. What I can’t cope with is another absurd ( and for me unsuccessful) scramble like Scotland and Czech. I will happily download a ticket or regretfully watch it on tv. I won’t spend half a work day of frantic anxiety trying to succeed. Avoiding this sort of crap is what being in the travel club ( and I’ve been a member of whatever club has existed since its inception in the 1990’s ) is all about. In truth, there’s plenty of time and technology to get this right. But I think UEFA and the FA perversely like to advertise their success and purported popularity by pointing to the over demand and the number of disappointed fans, so I don’t exclude a shambles.

Me and my mate have just got ours. We've just been notified by UEFA about our purchase. I don't know why we are hearing from them before ESTC?

I've got six caps. So I'd hazard a guess if you've more than that and had a ticket previously you've got one. The only caveat is we are in the posh seats ( Cat 1).

Does anyone know what the rules are about having a ticket in uefa sale and via the FA allocation? If I was to buy one via uefa, would it be flagged if I buy the ticket I am likely to get via FA? (And transferred the uefa ticket to a friend?)

    It's not allowed officially.
If anybody checks though, is a different matter.
My advice is don't use the same payment card details.

Please ignore the above. My mate sent me an email with the ticket details. I misunderstood. We haven't got tickets allocated from the supporters club yet.

    Apologies for this.

    Hi David
Do you have a list of the original ticket allocation for each game ?

blogs: Tim Vickery: A World Cup in every sense

Two World Cup Finals are being replayed in this week’s 2014 semi finals. The Germans seek revenge for their 2-0 defeat in 2002 when they meet Brazil – amazingly only the second time these giants have ever met in the tournament. And Holland were the closest – so far – a European team has ever come to winning the World Cup in South America when they hit the post with almost the last kick of normal...

blogs: Sue Smith: England can bounce back

There’s no doubt England can bounce back – the women’s team did it after the 2007 World Cup by going all the way in Euro 2009. Although we lost against Germany in the final of those Euros, there was a sense of achievement and progress...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Cool-hand Luke can handle price-tag

Having a hefty price tag can weight heavy on your shoulders – it certainly did for me when I moved back to Chelsea in 1997 for £5.5m. At the time I was the most expensive English defender and there was a lot of pressure that came with that. I found it quite hard and Luke Shaw now finds himself in a similar position after moving to Manchester United for £30m. It does make you look at things differently...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: It’s time to give England’s players a break

There’s no doubt England’s players will be disappointed with the way things panned out in Brazil, but they deserve a break after the mentally exhausting season they have all had. They’ll feel like they are coming home prematurely because going into these tournaments you always think that you’re good enough to progress, so to lose their first two games and be out of the World Cup this early will...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Fresh faces give us cause for hope

In my years following England I’ve seen some great players come and go – and teams rise and fall. I can say with pride that I saw every game David Beckham played for England and I have also been privileged enough to have seen all of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard’s appearances. Watching the Costa Rica match it was hard to think that it might be both of their final appearances. I remember Gerrard...
