UEFA EURO 2020

Practical response to booing

Other posts have already debated the merits of taking the knee, and of booing players taking the knee. This post is not intended to repeat those discussions.

Myself and my party will be cheering the England players as they take the knee on Sunday, in support of both the players and the intention to promote equality and fight discrimination. I would invite anyone else who feels similarly to join us in cheering.

I won’t be responding to any replies to this post.

After much deliberation I do support the kick it out campaign players should link arms flags etc.
There shouldn’t be any place for racism in the game.
But I cannot sit back and watch them continue to kneel and raise a fist before every game .
So sorry I will not be joining you.
