EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

UEFA Ballot - results (Rome)

Hi all.

Today I received an email from UEFA;

The ballots for UEFA EURO 2020™ tickets relating to new stadium capacities have finished.

We are happy to inform you that some or all of your tickets remain valid. To view your valid tickets, log in to the ticketing portal.

Logged on and my Quarter final tickets for Rome are still valid. (Lost every other game!)

Obviously there are many factors to this - Finish top, win last 16 game, Italy coming off Amber travel list. I cant see that I have to action this email and looks like they are automatically allocated. Anyone else get this?

What happens if Italy is still on the Amber list? Can you claim a refund?

What is everyone doing that has been allocated the same? Cheers

    No. UEFA's expectation was that people who thought they might not be able to get to a fixture would submit their ticket for a refund a few weeks ago and therefore they would not be in the ballot.

    It is not illegal to travel to a country on the amber list although the government official line is to strongly discourage travel for leisure purposes. Unfortunately, you would have to quarantine for 10 days on your return, which might be a problem if you have a job where you can't work from home.

    You would also have to consider any quarantine requirements applicable when you enter Italy.
