    In reply to Ben Hache:

So, if a match is moved from one of the 12 cities to another of the 12 cities, you would be allowed to request a ticket refund because they're all more than 50 km apart.

But why would UEFA move a match to a venue less than 50 km away ? This would surely be in the same country so the coronavirus restrictions imposed by the local authorities would surely be the same.

They wouldn't move a match to a smaller stadium. If crowd numbers have to be limited, the reason would be to enable social distancing within the stadium. Going to a smaller venue would defeat this objective.

Surely in this day why are they being so difficult about refunds. Surely the amount that is made from gate receipts is overshadowed by TV and sponsorship money. They need to sort their sh4t out. I amongst many others have a lot of money tied up in this.

Why I think it will be behind closed doors....end of the day the gate receipts aren’t that important especially if only 20-30% allowed in and all the hassle that brings them covid measures etc

What a farce. Jan 26th is far too early for a deadline to return tickets. I've returned all my tickets because of the risk associated with whether or not the tournament will go and ahead and if it does what the multitude of changes could be regarding countries, venues, capacities etc etc etc. To make fans have to make a decision at this time is ridiculous and no doubt there will be a money motive involved somewhere. I hope they enjoy the interest they've earned on my money they've had since Jan 2020-I'm sure it will find its way back to grass roots football....not!!

Julian what are you on about? what risk? If the tournament doesn't go ahead or is closed doors you get your money back. If the capacity is reduced and yours is one of the places cut you get your money back. If the venue is changed you get the option to go but if you don't want to then you get your money back. Literally every reason you have given why you have returned your tickets has been clarified by UEFA to say you'd get a full refund if that happened.

blogs: Sue Smith: Never mind the heat, it’s the humidity that gets you

Everyone’s talking about the temperature and humidity in Manaus and of course it’s going to affect the players, but they will have gone through every method to make sure they are in the best possible condition to cope. I was reading that they were in saunas on their breaks and wearing jackets in training and that’s the same sort of things we tried to do in China at the 2007 World Cup. People talk...

blogs: David Stone: Roy's Q & A embraces the fans

Following Wednesday's match we spent the evening out with a load of Ecuador supporters in the Clevelander club on South Beach. Interestingly enough, every member of their group lived in the US and had flown into Miami because it was a chance to see Premier League players. I suspect this was the case with most of the Ecuadorean support, living up to the saying 'you've only come to see the England!' The...
