UEFA EURO 2020

Euro 2020 Waiting List

Where can i find my request ID from my original application?

This is required to enter a waiting list for tickets that I missed out on.

Thank you in advance.

Look at your email from UEFA acknowledging your ticket application. I'm 99% sure that the number which the FA want is the number which is described as 'Your Group ID'. This same number appears on other UEFA emails and personal ticket details screens, described as 'Support ID'.

At the moment, the FA are only trying to help those members who missed out on tickets because they inadvertently went down the general public sale application route. That's what the current waiting list is for.

As a separate issue, they will also lobby UEFA for more tickets. Any tickets from England's allocation which were unsold because the match / category was undersubscribed or because members didn't pay for their tickets will revert back to UEFA. The FA will request access to these unsold tickets with a view to offering them to other members who missed out in the January ESTC ballots. If the FA are successful then we will have to see how these tickets are allocated to members : whether there is a waiting list system or something else. No doubt ESTC will issue a News Bulletin on this site if any more tickets become available so, if you monitor this site, you shouldn't miss any opportunity.

Thank you for the info, I didn’t realise the waiting list was for that, I’ll monitor this site to see if anything becomes available in the future. Thanks again

You would think uefa will give any unpaid for England Travel Club tickets, back to the ETC. Otherwise it gets messy trying to sort out which seats in the allocated confitional area are put back into a General Sale.

There's a link in this FA News Bulletin

    www.thefa.com/.../euro-2020-payment-update

Remember, this waiting list is only for Travel Club members who missed out on tickets from the FA allocation by applying through the general public sale ticket portal.

My mistake David, didn't read the full article.

I've put myself on the waiting list for the R16 game also, even though I've been allocated tickets.

    Ooops

Just as a bit of info, and it doesnt mean they will do this for the England Travel Club tickets , but in the Uefa general sale last Summer any unpaid for tickets were then offered to people who hadnt been lucky in the ballot for each specific game. An email was sent by Uefa on a weekday afternoon and the tickets were available there and then, so those who saw the email first got luckier.

blogs: Ian Fenwick: England emerging for bright future

I’m someone who is lucky enough work within the FA and the one thing I can say from my experience is that the future of English football is amazingly bright. Of course it’s not enough to always say that the things are going to be good in...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Belo Horizonte a fair setting for England’s new beginnings

Last time the World Cup came to Brazil, England went to the city of Belo Horizonte to be humiliated; it is the scene of that notorious 1-0 defeat to the United States. Perhaps humiliation is too strong a word this time. After all, England’s 2014 World Cup campaign has been marked by single goal defeats to former world champions, whereas back in 1950 the pride of the old First Division went down to what essentially...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: England can bounce back if they take a few risks

After the disappointment of the last two games, it’s vital that England take risks against Costa Rica. We don’t need two holding midfielders, Roy Hodgson has to start Adam Lallana over Danny Welbeck and we should switch to three men at the back. There was a clear opportunity against Uruguay and Italy to go to a back three – it would have allowed us to put some of our inventive players into more creative...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Let’s blow our own trumpet for once – come on England!

I’m used to blowing my own trumpet but not when it comes to predictions – I think we’ll get a result against Uruguay, but I thought we’d beat Italy 4-0! You’ve got to be optimistic as an England fan, sometimes it’s blind optimism but if you do what we do you have to believe. I’ve been following England with the band for 18 years now and it has always been the same. Roy Hodgson...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Uruguay may raise their game away from Fortaleza furnace

In the build-up to the World Cup a Uruguayan company launched an imaginative advertising campaign. Draped in a sky blue sheet, the colour of Uruguay’s shorts, the ghost of 1950 wandered around Rio frightening the locals – no one ever here needs reminding that the last time the World Cup was held in Brazil, Uruguay walked off with the trophy. So there was an element of Brazilian joy at Uruguay’s humiliating...
