UEFA EURO 2020

Fans First tickets for semi and final?

Does everyone get the option for these tickets as the prices seem to good to be true or are they only available to those with a high number of caps?

I chose these and also accept another cat just in case Smile

Everyone gets the option, but it's likely that the more caps you have the better your chance of getting one of you ticked that box, as it should be.

I’m on 24 caps there are 4446 etsc and esc members on 24 caps and above .. above me on caps .. question!! If I select fans first and tick the box saying I’m willing to accept a ticket from another category.. say there’s 5500 fans first and cat 3 tickets combined. Will I be guaranteed a ticket or if people from lower cap levels also apply for same category’s say there’s 8000 in total will it go to a ballot and could I miss out on a ticket just carnt get my head round that bit I know if we get say 5000 there would be more tickets than people on caps above me but it’s just if people on lower caps which they will apply for them 2 cats what would happen

Everyone gets the option to apply for them but they will be allocated based on cap totals. I can’t imagine you not being extremely comfortably inside the caps cut off for the fans first tickets.

It would be helpful to know the quantity of each category available. We could then make an informed decision regarding our chances of a particular category against our own personal cap level

Am I right in saying if say 6500 are allocated to fans first and cat 3 for the semi and final 70 % would be 4550 so if there’s 4446 people on 24 caps and above as I’m on 24 caps and as I say I pick fans first and cat 3 then I will be safe to say I would get a ticket with being in the 70 %

    In reply to Anthony Simpson:

The answer to this is I don't know. I hadn't even thought of the 70% rule being applied to different categories. I had assumed that the 70% would get their first choice of ticket first and in order of the highest caps. What was left would go to the remaining 30%. I may have to have a rethink when choosing categories to ensure that I am in the 70% of my choice of category. That assumes that is we get to find out the quantity per category

    In reply to Kerry Gillen:

Example 10500 tickets for semi final uefa have allegedly said 50% of tickets will go to cat 3 so presumably that’s fans first included.. say 9000 people apply for fans first and tick the box to go up or down . Surely they would have to be a ballot ? So 50% of 10500 is 5250 then a ballot only 3675 tickets would be guaranteed to the 70% who have enough caps so if your on 24 caps like me you would end up in the 30% ballot

If we choose a fans first ticket with the option to go up a cat would we go up to cat 3 or cat 2 as I’m thinking fans first and cat 3 are the same seats apart from the price it would be cat 2

You can only go up or down or cat (in this case to cat 3).

If cat 3 is over subscribed in the 70% youll miss out in this bit.

I'd definitely think Fans First and Cat 3 are distinct categories.

Because it’s uefas way of saying there are tickets priced at under £100 it got me thinking they might be the same cat and we would go to cat 2 but the realistic answer would be we would go to cat 3

    Definitely I'd say.

They are different cats on the application with different prices.

    Good luck
