Think it depends on any extra tickets - the first three sales windows might have a few who got tickets elsewhere but prob only few hundred so then down to what else they can get off UEFA. I’m in the same boat waiting for the email! But then what do I know - worked for semi though….

I take it that if you haven’t got any caps yet you’ve no chance of being emailed a code?

If you did not submit a ticket application for the final through the England Supporters Travel Club in the December 2019 / January 2020 sale period then you are not eligible for an access code. If you did submit an application then, as someone with no caps, there is a very slim chance that you will get an access code, depending on whether the FA can persuade UEFA to give us more tickets.

Surely those on one or more caps in the last period should be prioritised over those who on zero caps most probably joined after Wednesday.

For the semi, window 4 was originally not guaranteed, and it was open to 5000 odd who applied, succeeded and refunded, plus people who applied and failed. Once they secured more, window 4 became 3 caps and up and guaranteed.

I’m refund scum (had to, had no choice at the time as life got in the way) and originally had a final ticket. I’m in a much better position now so I’m hoping I can get it back. It worked for Germany and the Semis but I have to be honest, I’m not holding out much hope here if I’m honest. It’s torture!

I was due to be in Florida this time last year so would have been away for the final - Have been to Scot, Czech and semi but never applied for final first time around as I couldnt go at that point so even my 18 qualifying caps are not going to get me there Sunday by the looks of it! The memory of Wednesday will have to do - and what a memory that was.

what's a great source of frustration is that for those of us who miss out, come Sunday we'll see loads of no mark celebrities and divisive politicians who've all managed to get tickets. And we can be pretty certain that none of them will be in the England Supporters Travel Club, none of them will have bothered to go to any of the qualifiers and come the end of the tournament none of them will bother to go to any of the regular games come September.

I know for some of the more seasoned members of ESTC it won't surprise them to get such woeful ticket allocations in tournaments, but moving forward it would be good to see the powers that be at the FA or Football Supporters Europe to try to apply more pressure on UEFA/FIFA to get supporters club fans a better deal on tickets. They're like the mafia running a racket!

Good luck everyone in securing one of these last few tickets - if in deed there are any

i think the FA try their best every tournament past and present but as others have said they will never move their plan of extortion away from themselves, business wise it would be suicidal .......i mean CAT 1 for final are 900 euros,my mate bought 2 cos he's rich but i can count on one hand how many games hes been to..........so as the old adage says......money talks and in UEFA's case that is correct.

blogs: Sue Smith: England’s forward focus can rattle Uruguay

Before every tournament most people are guilty of thinking a bit higher of England than they probably should - me included, I thought we would beat Italy 2-0! But despite the result I think we must take lots of positives from the performance. It was great to see the players actually go for it in the match and I thought we were quite entertaining. Raheem Sterling was great - every time he got the ball he looked dangerous...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Deny Luis Suarez space and England can prevail

How do you stop Luis Suarez? The key for England will be communication and getting tighter defensively than they did against Italy. There was an uncertainty and a vulnerability to England's defence, particularly down the left, on Saturday night...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Even Balotelli’s fiancée knows this band on the run

There is no better place to be as the leader of England’s band than at a World Cup in Brazil – but the one downside is we don’t know if we’ll be allowed to play inside the stadiums! This country has two loves, music and football...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Brazil-Spain jostles for position as football's new super-rivalry

Now might be a good time to remind everyone that Spain lost their first match in the last World Cup – and look what happened to them! And so, to take our minds off the result in Manaus, I decided to have a look at one of world football’s most...

blogs: Adrian Bevington: The connection between England’s players and fans at a World Cup cannot be overestimated

Even now I can recall it perfectly. Lucio stumbled and miscontrolled when heading towards his own goal, and Michael Owen seized the moment. I knew at that point, in Shizuoka in 2002, that Michael would score. And I have to confess that at that moment I really did think we are going to win the World Cup. It is an emotion that takes over you, and although it didn’t turn out to be correct, one of the great pleasures...
