In an ideal world we'd see
    25% to each team
25% on internet general sale (suspended if the host nation was involved - meaning their fan club members get those tickets)
25% VIP/Sponsors/Media (taking any segregation considerations out of this pot)

So for Qatar - the finalists would get 20000 each.

but yes I know I'm living in cloud cuckoo land!

Good luck in getting a ticket for Sunday & if you've already got one then enjoy the game!

Its easy to say this when we're the host nation, and travel club members could easily sell more. How many teams national associations would be able to sell 25% of the capacity? If memory serves me right the only group game over subscribed in Russia 2018 was Belgium

a fair and valid point. If they made the prices more agreeable though then that would sway things considerably, but I think we all know they won't do this.
If the supporters club fans were sorted out first, and then if needs be the remainder going to general sale, then perhaps at least they've a better stab at "cheaper" tickets

Goodness knows what FIFA will charge for the world cup - I know the cheapest group game tickets were $US105 in 2018 & cheapest final ticket was $455 - They're not likely to be less in 2022. And there'll be a lot less demand to pay $210+ (the top group price ticket from 2018) to see England v Whoever

I've absolutely no interest in sitting in a prison camp in the desert. Only being let out for the games you have tickets for.

Don't stay in Doha then, plenty of places a short flight away. Doha Airport is extremely well connected to the rest of the world.
