EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

England charges by Uefa

Why have England been been charged for booing the Danish national anthem but the Italians get away scot free for the loudly booing the Spanish anthem on Tuesday? Again, we are singled out by the authorities. Have Uefa officials never been to an England away match before? GSTQ gets booed most games.

As for the idiot with the laser pen, they deserve some jail time.

The FA should just ask UEFA to deduct the fine from the prize money when we win it.

I was just watching the re-run of the game on iPlayer and the Danish players were complaining about the laser pen at the start of extra time. That was why the ref stopped play and ran across to speak to an official.
The Danish player who spoke to the ref seemed to be indicating an area along the side of the pitch on the opposite side to the technical areas about level with the penalty area.

Cant remember the exact games, but there were at least 2 matches in Copenhagen and Amsterdam, where celebrating fans were chucking drinks onto the pitch . Probably plastic glasses , but I said imagine if England fans did that... Also, on Tuesday the fans were booing each others national anthem - nothing said. Same as the Jocks against us. I never really get it anyway, not only as its disrespectful but as it just fires up the opposition anyway

    In reply to Peter salnicki:

You are all absolutely right that we suffer from double standards

However, I do wish people would stop booing the opponent's national anthems. It is not becoming upon us as englishmen and women to do this kind of thing.

Booing national anthems is the kind of thing the Scots do, so stop it.
