EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Timings of access codes

I'm entitled to buy a Fans First ticket in this first sales window that's open now but I'm going to risk buying them with a couple of mates in the second sales window at 4pm so we can sit together and hopefully there will still be sufficient FF ones left to buy at that time.

Does anyone know whether you can put the access code in as soon as you receive it ie a few minutes before 4pm or is the technology advanced enough to know the 4pm-10am codes will only be recognised from 4pm onwards?

I assume people have been putting them in just before their official window opens so wanted to know if that works or should I just wait until 4pm.

The access codes work at any time, its the FA managing the timings through sending the codes out in 3 sales, not UEFA. My advice would be to have your ticket in your basket from the first window before your friends get your codes in, saving you a few mins.

You have no caps, you won't be in the 2nd window. Maybe 3rd or 4th window?

Worked like a dream by the way - managed to get the transaction completed for me and my Sales Window 2 mates completed just before 4pm!

Four years ago, Ecuador coach Reinaldo Rueda was in charge of Honduras, and he experienced at first hand one of the problems of the World Cup. If the players are not used to the pressure and the glamour of the tournament, then the whole thing can pass...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Can England pass Peru's back three test?

When Peru narrowly failed to make the World Cup in 1998, their coach was Juan Carlos Oblitas, a winger from their side of the late 70s and early 80s. Oblitas remains an important voice in the Peruvian game – and he is not happy with the squad that...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Prototype Peru may prove just as welcoming to England as Wembley itself

Peru have not only been invited to Wembley this Friday to give a South American flavour to England’s World Cup send-off. Presumably, the idea is that the fans will go home happy and the team will get a pre-tournament morale boost. Only goal difference...
