Judging by a row I spotted last night where some chums tried to jam in as many people as they could on a row to be together, I'd imagine about 250K?

I'm not sure you could get many more in than were there last night.

Was that really supposed to be 65,000?

It wasn't empty. It had fewer people in than the rest of the tiers but it wasn't empty.

I never got to my seat in the lower tier. There were so many people in the aisles I couldnt get to it and just went elsewhere and got a better view anyway :-)

    In reply to Peter John-Baptiste:

Wembley has a total of 90,362 seats. I think the middle tier has around 15,000, upper tier around 38,000 and lower tier 37,000?  Note:  Some of the lower tier, front rows was given over to the UEFA logos / seat coverings, so this probably reduced the capacity to 85,000 - the effective licenced capacity for evening games.

I've just looked through my photos. The middle tier, which contained most of the guests had around 7,500 at best. That includes most of the 2,500 'guests', which UEFA hasn't been counting in the total attendance.

This would leave around 60,000 split between upper and lower tiers. That means they were around 80-85% capacity for upper and lower tiers. I'd say that was about right.

I don't expect the capacity of 67,500 (65,000 paying) to change for Sunday.

I really dont think the lower tier was at 80% capacity but we'll agree to disagree.
