EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Tickets in different entrances

I bought a disabled ticket and a fans first ticket in sale window 2 but I’ve now just been sent the tickets through on the app and disabled ticket is in lower tier, fans first in upper tier!

The fans first ticket is my son and when I read the ticket article it said if you want them together you need to buy the tickets in the same sale window and order which I did.

Not sure what to do and don’t even know if England/UEFA will be able to sort it?

    Hi Tim

Me and a friend have a similar issue. Me in the top tier and my friend in the lower tier (block 512 and 112).
I'd be happy to look at swapping if feasible.

    Thanks
    Jonathan

With one of your tickets being a disabled ticket and with you buying both tickets in the same order, I think you have a case for special treatment. With 25% of seats unoccupied, the Wembley ticket office ought to be prepared to move your son to somewhere close to you. Put your query to Team England. Ask them to give you an email authorising you to go to the ticket office with the above request.

    @ Jonathan Shenton
You haven't quoted any extenuating circumstances so I don't think you would be allowed to change seats.

My disabled tickets are block 113 and my son’s ticket is block 515 so I’d be willing to swap you his upper tier for the lower one as we need to be lower tier for the disabled tickets.

The issue is my son’s ticket in 515 is saying it’s non-transferable so don’t think I’ll be able to for some reason.

Seems a bit strange as the article did say if tickets were bought together in the same order they’d at least be the same entrance.

I seem to constantly be on the phone to Team England, they must be sick of me by now!

I’ve got a mate that would definitely want to swap with you as we are all in the lower tier and he has been put in the upper. Not sure how you could make that work though.

No me neither, shame really. Its my mistake, I didn't understand the booking system. I was just pleased to get a ticket.

    Hey there Jonathan

Me and my ten year old son have an identical issue. I’m in 112 with other family members and he’s been put in 509. You can call me on 07889724974 to discuss. Would be a massive help

It is gutting really that it has worked out like this for so many people because we have travelled together all over the world for years and years side by side and then a ticketing faux pas means at the time you want to be next to those people to share a once in a generation experience it wont happen.

I am in Block 108 and my wife and kids in 113. Does anyone know whether I’ll be able to get across to them? I assume everyone will be standing in those blocks but is there a barrier somewhere around block 110/111 which will stop me getting across the terrace to them?

    @Jonathan

Got a mate who's on his own in the upper tier, but the rest of us are in the lower tier. So if you want to swap his higher tier for your friend's lower tier we'd be happy to swap.

Will be available on 07500 926617 all day tomorrow if you want to meet to sort.

blogs: Sue Smith: England’s forward focus can rattle Uruguay

Before every tournament most people are guilty of thinking a bit higher of England than they probably should - me included, I thought we would beat Italy 2-0! But despite the result I think we must take lots of positives from the performance. It was great to see the players actually go for it in the match and I thought we were quite entertaining. Raheem Sterling was great - every time he got the ball he looked dangerous...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Deny Luis Suarez space and England can prevail

How do you stop Luis Suarez? The key for England will be communication and getting tighter defensively than they did against Italy. There was an uncertainty and a vulnerability to England's defence, particularly down the left, on Saturday night...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Even Balotelli’s fiancée knows this band on the run

There is no better place to be as the leader of England’s band than at a World Cup in Brazil – but the one downside is we don’t know if we’ll be allowed to play inside the stadiums! This country has two loves, music and football...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Brazil-Spain jostles for position as football's new super-rivalry

blogs: Adrian Bevington: The connection between England’s players and fans at a World Cup cannot be overestimated

Even now I can recall it perfectly. Lucio stumbled and miscontrolled when heading towards his own goal, and Michael Owen seized the moment. I knew at that point, in Shizuoka in 2002, that Michael would score. And I have to confess that at that moment I really did think we are going to win the World Cup. It is an emotion that takes over you, and although it didn’t turn out to be correct, one of the great pleasures...
