EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Always some idiots

First a great atmosphere tonight and my throat is killing me already but… sadly I had to pop to the shop near Wembley arena to get a drink for the drive home (Sainsbury’s I think) and I was shocked and pissed off that a very small group of so called England fans!!!

They grabbed a group of German flags off some fans walking by… some where off women, They then snapped the sticks, spat on the flags and then tore the flags apart before putting them in the bin!!

I informed a police officer as I walked by one so hopefully got caught in the act! But this was shocking to see!!

It’s always a small few that give us fans a bad name!! But this is shocking.

    In reply to Garford Beck:

I don't think the anthem will get booed on Saturday. Generally only certain countries anthems get booed.

We all know who those countries are. Doesn't make it acceptable though.

We see hundreds walking towards Wembley after the game, most covered in mud and faces like the late 80s and early 90s.actually acting like we lost we lost in 96 ? Great win but be proud not a ***

    In reply to Peter John-Baptiste:

Why are England fans only ever singled out for the booing of anthems? God save the Queen gets booed at pretty much most of our away games. I didn't hear the Guardian or BBC mention how heavily booed GSTQ was in Moscow against Colombia in the World Cup or at Hampden Park in 2017 or most games with a large crowd. Just a bit bemused why only England fans are tarnished with his image when most other countries are the same.

    In reply to Clarke Buckeridge:

I don't care what other countries do.

We can always be the bigger and better nation.

The booing of anthems by our crowd had pretty much dissipated over the years, so the booing on Tuesday was the only slightly disappointing thing about the day for me, which was otherwise brilliant.
