EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Euro 2020 ticket app

Hi all... Has anyone had their tickets appear on the app yet? Got my email confirmation immediately after purchase yesterday, on which it said tickets would appear in the app no later than 5 days before the match so was expecting it to appear today, but nothing there so far. Thanks.

No need to panic anyone, they will appear. You will get an email from Uefa saying your ticket is ready to download.

I managed to purchase 2 category 1 tickets for the Euro 202 game between England and Germany at Wembley. I have been waiting for an email inviting me to download my tickets, but have still not received the email.

Upon checking the UEFA ticketing app website on:

    www.uefa.com/.../mobile-tickets-app

It states that if I have already downloaded the app (which I had done a couple of weeks ago) I will be unable to view these tickets on the app, but can view my valid tickets on the UEFA ticketing portal. Upon checking the portal, I can see the two tickets purchased along with a seven digit order number and an eleven digit ticket number. Is that used to allow me entry to the game, or do I need to visit the ticket office to collect a paper ticket?

My mate had this when I transferred him his first ticket for the tournament. As he already had the app he just deleted it and followed the link to reinstall it (though you could surely do this without the link) and the tickets were there. Since then every transfer has been fine it’s just that first ticket that seems to be the problem.

I’ve yet to receive an email to invite me to download the tickets or the app, which is what concerns me. I’ve deleted the app and registered again with the email I used to purchase the tickets but still saying there are no tickets associated with this email address :(

Yeah reckon just try when you get the email. What sales phase were you in? We were in the first phase and only got our email through this afternoon so wouldn’t give up hope yet. If nothing by Monday either get in touch with uefa or ESTC and then if nothing get yourself to the paper ticket people. Make sure it’s not ended up in your junk folder, or in the case of outlook make sure you check your non focused email inbox.

Oh and when/ if you do get the tickets and you’re transferring the other one make sure the other also does not have the app downloaded. Just get the same thing as I did.

I was one of the lucky ones to get them through the general sale this morning. I have been successful in the 3rd ballot but won’t be trying to get one there! Hopefully I’m just being to eager but as I’m sure it’s the same for everyone, the nerves don’t settle until you have the actual tickets haha! Thank you for the advice James.

You don't need to wait for an email inviting you to download the app. You can do it from the Apple or Google Play app store, as you had already done.

Nor do you need to download the tickets. They will appear in the app without you having to do anything. Indeed, they may already be there as my ticket came through this evening.

The message about not being able to view the tickets in the app applies only during the period prior to UEFA sending the tickets to your phone. The message is to stop people from worrying if they expected the tickets to appear in the app as soon as they were bought.

blogs: Tim Vickery: A World Cup in every sense

Two World Cup Finals are being replayed in this week’s 2014 semi finals. The Germans seek revenge for their 2-0 defeat in 2002 when they meet Brazil – amazingly only the second time these giants have ever met in the tournament. And Holland were the closest – so far – a European team has ever come to winning the World Cup in South America when they hit the post with almost the last kick of normal...

blogs: Sue Smith: England can bounce back

There’s no doubt England can bounce back – the women’s team did it after the 2007 World Cup by going all the way in Euro 2009. Although we lost against Germany in the final of those Euros, there was a sense of achievement and progress...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Cool-hand Luke can handle price-tag

Having a hefty price tag can weight heavy on your shoulders – it certainly did for me when I moved back to Chelsea in 1997 for £5.5m. At the time I was the most expensive English defender and there was a lot of pressure that came with that. I found it quite hard and Luke Shaw now finds himself in a similar position after moving to Manchester United for £30m. It does make you look at things differently...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: It’s time to give England’s players a break

There’s no doubt England’s players will be disappointed with the way things panned out in Brazil, but they deserve a break after the mentally exhausting season they have all had. They’ll feel like they are coming home prematurely because going into these tournaments you always think that you’re good enough to progress, so to lose their first two games and be out of the World Cup this early will...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Fresh faces give us cause for hope

In my years following England I’ve seen some great players come and go – and teams rise and fall. I can say with pride that I saw every game David Beckham played for England and I have also been privileged enough to have seen all of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard’s appearances. Watching the Costa Rica match it was hard to think that it might be both of their final appearances. I remember Gerrard...
