EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Wembley Covid Entry Requirements

Hi all. Just want to check that a text confirming a negative lateral flow test is sufficient for entry to the ground. I am double jabbed but my son will be taking a test. Just don’t want any nasty last minute surprises! Thanks

Slightly off topic, but how strict are they on taking bags into the game. Im not talking massive rucksack, but maybe close to their size limit. I refuse to spend £15 on their Wembley bag, which ironically is bigger than the size limits !

my bag is bigger, but not that you would notice and Tape Measure security have never been called.
just don't have it full to bursting, I bring phone & battery, meds Et Cetera, they won't let food or drink in.

As requested by them, I took my passport for ID and my Covid 2D code to confirm I’d had both jabs, they weren’t interested in either just my ticket, was that just me or are they not checking anyone?

    In reply to Peter Capel:

At Entrance 1, they had a number of channels about 5 yards long separated by fencing. At the start of each channel was a steward who checked your covid status. At the end was another steward who activated your ticket. Nobody asked for ID.

    In reply to David Lilley:

Indeed. No ID required, I was certain that would be the case but had my drivers licence on me (as usual) to cover that eventuality. No chance I’d ever take my passport to a home game, fook that.

If you’re double jab is that enough.I have it on the NHS App as proof.

    In reply to michael ryan:

If the second jab was at least 2 weeks before the match then that is enough. There is an approved way of showing it on the NHS app but if you have it there in a different form I'm sure that would be OK.

I advise you to create your NHS Covid pass before leaving for the stadium and take a screen shot just in case you have difficulty getting a 4G / 5G signal at the stadium.

Just advisory. Haven't heard of anyone being pulled up on this at all, I didn't get in for my entry time for any of the games.

Does anybody know if doing a self test lateral flow test is sufficient or do you have to go to a testing centre?

    Thanks
