Fall in to the latter category as wasn’t going to be around for the 2020 tournament. 30 ‘Euro 2020’ caps, any assistance from anyone who bought their tickets on UEFA too would be appreciated.

Appears to have been a bit of a thankless task for you guys recently. Hopefully it settles down and becomes a bit easier for you all now. Thanks as always.

It says you can't link tickets to sit together at the end of the purchasing process so if you want to sit together, you need to purchase them at the same time. Does that mean physically going in individually and coordinating hitting the 'Buy' button all at the same time hoping tickets will be allocated close to each other?

    In reply to Tim Powell:

No, you put the first access code in, put your ticket In your basket, then go back to the start and put the 2nd access code in, repeat. Then when you have them all in checkout. Read the FA Sale guide they put together

7358 is definitely a good number well done...

Is anyone able to summarize where you'd be sitting with each Category?

    My understanding is:
Cat 3 - home end behind the goal
Cat 2 - either very low tier 1 alongside the pitch and corners, or top tier but central
Cat 1 - 1st tier alongside the pitch

My 3x cat 2 tickets for the group games have been in the gods...

Its cat 3 are behind the goals, cat 2 more in the corners, cat 1 central along the pitch. These are spread across all 3 tiers

People with 0,2 caps being prioritised over those of us who have 20+ been to seville, prague etc. just because they hit 'apply' button in original application process perhaps? Couldn't go to Dublin so didn't apply. DIfferent venue, different conditions.

    In reply to George Kleanthous:

No. Pretty sure you can buy any category you want. It’s just saying that if you are in this phase you are guaranteed a cat 3 if you want it. Guess the reason is to avoid everybody logging in at the same time and crashing the UEFA site again.

blogs: Tim Vickery: A World Cup in every sense

Two World Cup Finals are being replayed in this week’s 2014 semi finals. The Germans seek revenge for their 2-0 defeat in 2002 when they meet Brazil – amazingly only the second time these giants have ever met in the tournament. And Holland were the closest – so far – a European team has ever come to winning the World Cup in South America when they hit the post with almost the last kick of normal...

blogs: Sue Smith: England can bounce back

There’s no doubt England can bounce back – the women’s team did it after the 2007 World Cup by going all the way in Euro 2009. Although we lost against Germany in the final of those Euros, there was a sense of achievement and progress...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Cool-hand Luke can handle price-tag

Having a hefty price tag can weight heavy on your shoulders – it certainly did for me when I moved back to Chelsea in 1997 for £5.5m. At the time I was the most expensive English defender and there was a lot of pressure that came with that. I found it quite hard and Luke Shaw now finds himself in a similar position after moving to Manchester United for £30m. It does make you look at things differently...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: It’s time to give England’s players a break

There’s no doubt England’s players will be disappointed with the way things panned out in Brazil, but they deserve a break after the mentally exhausting season they have all had. They’ll feel like they are coming home prematurely because going into these tournaments you always think that you’re good enough to progress, so to lose their first two games and be out of the World Cup this early will...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Fresh faces give us cause for hope

In my years following England I’ve seen some great players come and go – and teams rise and fall. I can say with pride that I saw every game David Beckham played for England and I have also been privileged enough to have seen all of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard’s appearances. Watching the Costa Rica match it was hard to think that it might be both of their final appearances. I remember Gerrard...
