EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Uefa Tickets

Hi All, I purchased a ticket through UEFA earlier as a back up if one of my mates with lower caps werent successful through ESTC. Does anyone know if I will be able to purchase through ESTC despite having a UEFA ticket in my account? Thanks

No. Whenever you order tickets for a Euro 2020 match, one of the tickets in that order must be for yourself and is not transferable. If you only bought one ticket through UEFA then that will be logged on the UEFA system as for you and cannot legitimately be transferred to your mate. As you are not allowed to have two tickets to the same match for yourself, that means that you won't be eligible to put in another order for the same match through ESTC.

UEFA operates seat segregation between ESTC sales and general public sales so your general public sale seat won't be with any of your other mates who get tickets through ESTC. You might not even be in the same part of the stadium.

This is what the rules say but I don't know whether the ticketing system is clever enough to stop you from transferring the ticket to your mate or trying to get another one through ESTC.

Thanks David. I'll give it a go but looks like I have had an absolute mare
