EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Those who missed the UEFA sale

Communication hasn’t been great… missed out on the UEFA sale by 10 minutes.

Will any tickets go on sale to ETSC members and if so how many and when? People need to plan and book hotels, trains etc.

the only saving grace is that a lot of 50/50 members who weren't sure about the ballot may have purchased some freeing some up,must admit we must know what the allocation is by now.seems a shame some will miss out when no doubt people that have never been to a game before will get to go at the expense of a member

I’m sure this question has been answered somewhere - but I’ve got 30 ‘Euro 2020’ caps, didn’t have tickets previously, will their be an opportunity to apply for tickets moving forward via ESTC?

UEFA system is a joke. I bought 4 tickets for Dublin for a lads p**s up, didn’t apply through ESTC because I thought it would be wrong to ‘steal’ another 2 tickets for me and my lad! Tickets got cancelled and I was told I would get 24 hour priority. While driving home from Wembley today my mate rang and said he had just got 4 cat 3 tickets for 2nd round, at the same time UEFA emailed to let me know about priority sale. My mate didnt have any priority, as you can guess by the time I pulled off motorway all tickets had gone. Luckily he will give me 2 tickets, so if they do become available through ESTC I will leave for someone else…..good luck all.

the more travel club members that bought from the Uefa sale today, you'll have more of a chance through the FA to get them!

I didn’t see this sale until it was too late. Odd tickets coming up but anyway I’m surprised that these went on sale whilst the ESTC are not contactable by phone and when their official message says that they won’t be on sale or any announcement until later today at the earliest.
My assumption is that as I had a R16 ticket in the England fans sale and didn’t submit it for a refund that I should be quite high up the pecking order, or I had 26 caps so might be lucky that way, but if they go on sale any time from Friday to Sunday I am going to struggle to be near a pc on those days so can easily see a problem arising for me.

It’s annoying… if you happen to be driving, eating for 10 minutes you miss out.

blogs: Tim Vickery: A World Cup in every sense

Two World Cup Finals are being replayed in this week’s 2014 semi finals. The Germans seek revenge for their 2-0 defeat in 2002 when they meet Brazil – amazingly only the second time these giants have ever met in the tournament. And Holland were the closest – so far – a European team has ever come to winning the World Cup in South America when they hit the post with almost the last kick of normal...

blogs: Sue Smith: England can bounce back

There’s no doubt England can bounce back – the women’s team did it after the 2007 World Cup by going all the way in Euro 2009. Although we lost against Germany in the final of those Euros, there was a sense of achievement and progress...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Cool-hand Luke can handle price-tag

Having a hefty price tag can weight heavy on your shoulders – it certainly did for me when I moved back to Chelsea in 1997 for £5.5m. At the time I was the most expensive English defender and there was a lot of pressure that came with that. I found it quite hard and Luke Shaw now finds himself in a similar position after moving to Manchester United for £30m. It does make you look at things differently...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: It’s time to give England’s players a break

There’s no doubt England’s players will be disappointed with the way things panned out in Brazil, but they deserve a break after the mentally exhausting season they have all had. They’ll feel like they are coming home prematurely because going into these tournaments you always think that you’re good enough to progress, so to lose their first two games and be out of the World Cup this early will...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Fresh faces give us cause for hope

In my years following England I’ve seen some great players come and go – and teams rise and fall. I can say with pride that I saw every game David Beckham played for England and I have also been privileged enough to have seen all of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard’s appearances. Watching the Costa Rica match it was hard to think that it might be both of their final appearances. I remember Gerrard...
