I believe that I have read somewhere that there is an option to do this on the uefa app?, but I will also need to find this out. At last me and my mate have been successful in the recent ballot so were going to be trying to get tickets this morning for the Tuesday game.

but can anyone confirm how i can purchase both tickets with mine and his access codes? can i do it at the same time so that we are sat together etc. do i enter my code and his or just mine then select 2 tickets and it asks for his... how does it work?, he is not good at technology so its left to me to sort.... i purchased both of our tickets previously when we brought them a couple of years ago.

Lee - if these are tickets previously purchased through the ESTC then see my response in the link below.

Stuart is correct in that the actual transfer would have been done using the app.  However this option would only have been available for group applications where the second, third tickets etc (not the first which has to be kept by the original applicant) would have been available to transfer.

As today's ticket sale is for individuals this transfer probably won't be available as the buyer will only have their own ticket on their phone.

Stuart - it's an individual purchase job today. If you are lucky enough to get one for yourself in the fastest finger today at 11 (remembering that four times as many members will be sent the code than there are tickets available) then there MAY be an option to link the second application by order number to the first.

You'd be fortunate though to be successful once and then successful again especially within the lower cats. I'd concentrate on both of you, individually trying to get a ticket (or in reality you sorting yourself and then trying to get your mates) and worrying about sitting together later.

Someone else might be able to comment if you actually logging on as your mate and trying to purchase his ticket adds more complications. I'd be worried that, if one person did it by phone and you were already successful once, that the system might recognise you already have a ticket on your app for this game and not allow a second purchase or worse.

The ideal really is for you both (Stuart and your mate) to attack the sale in a parrellel at the same time.

    Good luck both.

As Matthew has said, in this sale, each individual who has been sent an access code has the opportunity to purchase a ticket only for himself. If you want to buy your own and your friend's tickets (because he is not tech-savvy) then you will have to log into your own UEFA ticketing account, buy your ticket using your access code, log out, log in again using your friend's UEFA ticketing account ID and password, and then buy his ticket using his access code. He will have to give you his ID, password and access code. Note that, because you are attempting to buy these tickets one after the other and it is first come first served, it is possible that you might be successful with yours but unsuccessful with his.

All current ticket holders for this match have already been sent their mobile phone tickets showing their seat numbers. So there is very little possibility that you might be allocated adjacent seats in this mopping up sale.

Think it may be against the rules as members should only use the tickets allocated to them

    In reply to Anthony Simpson:

Under UEFA's T&Cs, the only circumstances under which you might transfer your own ticket to your son would be if you were unable to attend the match for medical reasons. This is a new rule introduced for the current tournament because so many people are catching covid-19 or having to self-isolate because they've come into contact with an infected person.

The ESTC rules would prohibit the transfer even in those circumstances but you might be able to persuade Team England to allow the transfer if your son is also an ESTC member.

Tickets for ESTC members to knock out matches will only go on sale when we qualify for that match 3 or 4 days before the match. If you are successful in buying a ticket to a knock out match and then declare yourself unable to attend for medical reasons, both UEFA and the FA are likely to be suspicious that you are pulling a fast one.

Hi my son bought our group of 4 tickets this morning using all four access codes, everything went through ok saying the total amount for cat 1 tickets and he had a confirmation email, I’m a bit worried now seeing Matthews post regarding individual only. We haven’t had any more info regarding this. Has anyone else booked as a group in the ballot?

    In reply to Ian O'rourke:

If you used 4 access codes then there wont have been a problem, it wouldnt have worked otherwise. I think Matthew was suggesting it might not be time efficient for one person to do 4 orders when it was a fastest finger first sale, (having to do one, then go back to the start and repeat x4), but it sounds like it somehow worked out okay for you so dont worry.
