EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Additional Tickets Secured for Czech Republic

We are pleased to announce that we have managed to obtain an additional allocation of tickets from UEFA for Czech Republic v England which takes place on Tuesday 22 June 2021.

Due to the short space of time between now and the match taking place, the sale will operate on a first-come-first-served basis to ensure all tickets are sold.

The ballot will be conducted using the 70/20/10% rule, however, more members will be given access to the sale than the number of tickets we have available to ensure that all remaining tickets are purchased.

Those who are successful in the ballot will be sent an email no later than 8pm on Saturday 19 June stating that they have been successful in the ballot.

Successful members will then be sent their access code, on Sunday 20 June,  once the sale opens.

The sale will run from 11am on Sunday 20 June until all tickets are sold out, via UEFA's Ticketing Website.

Please be aware that you will only receive an email about the ballot if you have been successful.

If you have not received an email by 10pm on Saturday 19 June then, unfortunately, you have not been successful

.

Please be aware this ballot is for Czech Republic only and an access code is not a guarantee of a ticket.

2800 for 753 tickets. Surely the take up rate would be better than that! And no help for those who were stuffed in the Scotland sale. Really poor.

I didn’t originally purchase a ticket for the Czech game but received an email about this ballot. Am I in this then?

The email looks as though it was sent to all members - as someone who is fortunate to already have a ticket it was sent to me too.

The update states only people in group 1 will be considered. You don't fall into group 1 as you didn't originally purchase a ticket.

A link to the group explanation is on the update.

ESTC team - cheers for work and the update. Think the reference to 26 caps needs amending to 13 on the update.

Thanks for that, it’s a shame because last year I wasn’t available for the game but as plans change I could’ve gone! Ah well.

Anyone else who was successful in the ballot not received their access code yet? Cutting it a bit fine!

Well that was a bit of a farce. Access code came through promptly but tried to enter it twice and it was not recognised. Looking back, was I a minute early? (Ironic as I waited to 1pm for Scotland). By the time it worked, I was too late! These are tricky times, I know, and no one a divine right to a ticket. Just left asking why this farrago seems to have overshadowed my life for the last 5 days or so when I actually had and paid for tickets for both games 18 months ago.

Same we paid for tickets for this and Scotland game 18 months ago. Chose not to return and was refunded for both games. No problems with access code but by the time you added the ticket they had sold out. Not good when you hear of those that have 1 cap getting tickets.

Join the club. It is annoying that Uefa sat on our money for 18 months and we now have to go through all this faff. I suppose COVID gives them an excuse but poor treatment of fans yet again. Especially after farce of CL final.

Desperate plea - If anybody has a spare ticket for Tuesday, please could I be considered? I live in Cornwall and was going to meet my daughter in Sussex and travel into the game together on Tuesday if we got tickets. My daughter secured a Category 2 ticket and I was waiting for the payment screen when my time ran out, so now I don't have a ticket and she does. Absolutely gutted!!!

What an absolute shambles. I was on the website in seconds, had a ticket, went to pay, the site crashes and then my order comes up as abandoned.

Appalling from both UEFA (to be expected) and ESTC (who I would of expected better from).

Caps are meant to be an opportunity to buy a ticket. Not a chance to have a chance. Doing it for others with decent level of caps - three games tried, three fails. There has to be a better way.

I managed to get a Cat 1 and was paid by 11.02. Same for another mate. Third lad who goes with us did exactly the same and got booted out. Total luck of the draw, but in hindsight I glad I opted to go straight for Cat 1.

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Youth or experience for second Miami test?

The game against Honduras tonight is the final chance for a player to stake their claim for that World Cup opener against Italy next Saturday, and warm-up matches are key - just look at Michael Owen at France 98. The build-up to this tournament and that one 16 years ago is similar in many ways because there was a lot of experience in that England squad that I played in, and Michael really burst onto the scene. It was...

blogs: David Stone: Marvellous Miami is just like I pictured it

I've been to the US a few times before, but Miami really lives up to every cultural stereotype you can think of. It's big, bright and brash, not to mention full of hordes of identically-dressed, beautiful people. I’ve been to watch the Miami Marlins, the city's baseball team, in a local derby against the Tampa Bay Rays. While the stadium itself was two-thirds empty, the dozen or so England fans there...
