EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

The Security at Wembley is appalling

So I get to the turnstile at gate C, and some scouser runs behind me when I'm going through and jams himself in and basically gets in for free gets saying "you don't mind do ya kidda"  before running off.

No security, no weapons arches, no nothing. Bloke could have had anything on him.

After the enquiry about the Manchester bombing you think security would be better than this!

Terrible security. If anyone from Wembley wishes to contact then feel free please.

Totally agree mate, no one checked me for covid regs etc, no security checks, guy outside had a screen shot of ticket from someone else and got in makes a mockery of e tickets and who's getting in the ground.

The security inside the ground were allowing the intoxicated to stand up in front of the disabled section, blocking their view, and then they stood up in the gangways,No one told them that this was a safety requirement and then it started kicking off...and no one stepped in.

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Youth or experience for second Miami test?

The game against Honduras tonight is the final chance for a player to stake their claim for that World Cup opener against Italy next Saturday, and warm-up matches are key - just look at Michael Owen at France 98. The build-up to this tournament and that one 16 years ago is similar in many ways because there was a lot of experience in that England squad that I played in, and Michael really burst onto the scene. It was...

blogs: David Stone: Marvellous Miami is just like I pictured it

I've been to the US a few times before, but Miami really lives up to every cultural stereotype you can think of. It's big, bright and brash, not to mention full of hordes of identically-dressed, beautiful people. I’ve been to watch the Miami Marlins, the city's baseball team, in a local derby against the Tampa Bay Rays. While the stadium itself was two-thirds empty, the dozen or so England fans there...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Honduras and Professor Suarez lie in wait for Hodgson's hopefuls

The fitness of the Uruguay striker permitting, England have a date with Luis Suarez on 19 June. First, though, comes an encounter with his namesake on Saturday. Honduras are coached by Luis Fernando Suarez – a man who England fans have cause to...

blogs: Sue Smith: Striking a balance is key during a World Cup

Building up to a major international tournament is strange because you’ve spent so long preparing and then all of a sudden you’re playing in a World Cup – you don’t even think about it you just do your job. I would like to think...

blogs: Marios Papaloizou: Football’s friendly fire is my favourite time of year

Somewhere in-between the nerve-racking qualifying campaigns and the unbearable tension that surrounds a major tournament there occasionally lies a perfect storm of happy sentiment that surrounds the England team. Whether it's Peter Crouch's robot...
