EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Additional Tickets Secured for England v Scotland

We are pleased to announce that we have managed to obtain an additional allocation of tickets from UEFA for England v Scotland which takes place on Friday 18 June 2021.

Due to the short space of time between now and the match taking place, the sale will operate on a first-come-first-served basis to ensure all tickets are sold.

The ballot will be conducted using the 70/20/10% rule, however, more members will be given access to the sale than the number of tickets we have available to ensure that all remaining tickets are purchased.

Those who are successful in the ballot will be sent an access code.

Please be aware that you will only receive an email if you have been successful in this ballot. If you have not received an email by 12 midday on Wednesday 16 June then, unfortunately, you have not been successful in this ballot.

We will communicate the results with members no later than 10am on Wednesday 16 June.

Please be aware this ballot is for Scotland only and an access code is not a guarantee of a ticket.

The sale will run from 1pm on Wednesday 16 June until they are sold out, via UEFA's Ticketing Website.

For more information please read our latest update.

Did you actually manage to buy them though? Site is just crashing constantly and not letting me actually complete a purchase - and tickets seem to keep reappearing so I don't think it is just me.

It’s ridiculous the way it’s been sent organised this year fans have been let down massively

There must have been some sort of balls up the first time around with the Croatia tickets on UEFAs portal because I got an email saying I had priority even though I hadn’t purchased tickets through then, mine were through the travel club. I refreshed the page at lunchtime and there were tickets available but no prompt to add a code etc. Can only assume something went wrong first time around and this has now been rectified.

Definitely needed a bit of luck throughout all of this! I just chanced it this morning with the code and it went straight through, same for another one of our lads that was succesful in the ballot.

I think it's mad that people managed to get tickets before 1pm with the code, given that the email from the FA says that "the sale will run from 1pm". That's poor.

100% mate. I went from tickets for every game to nothing back to 1 for Croatia so I’m just happy to have been to 1 game. Was you sent a code this morning from UEFA or earlier in the week?

    In reply to Sam Styles:

UEFA ticketing site balls up really. Surely one of the first things you should check is that you've locked the necessary part of the website until the time agreed and publicised.

I was buzzing earlier just knowing I had the chance to get on at 1pm and try my luck. Felt so much better than the previous resignation of not going. Now I feel even worse than before

I know the travel club phonelines aren't opening until 1pm but it's a bit frustrating to ring in case anyone is picking up earlier - given what seems to be the muck-up with access codes this morning - and the recorded message is referring to Montenegro away tickets from over two years ago.

blogs: Ian Fenwick: England emerging for bright future

I’m someone who is lucky enough work within the FA and the one thing I can say from my experience is that the future of English football is amazingly bright. Of course it’s not enough to always say that the things are going to be good in...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Belo Horizonte a fair setting for England’s new beginnings

Last time the World Cup came to Brazil, England went to the city of Belo Horizonte to be humiliated; it is the scene of that notorious 1-0 defeat to the United States. Perhaps humiliation is too strong a word this time. After all, England’s 2014 World Cup campaign has been marked by single goal defeats to former world champions, whereas back in 1950 the pride of the old First Division went down to what essentially...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: England can bounce back if they take a few risks

After the disappointment of the last two games, it’s vital that England take risks against Costa Rica. We don’t need two holding midfielders, Roy Hodgson has to start Adam Lallana over Danny Welbeck and we should switch to three men at the back. There was a clear opportunity against Uruguay and Italy to go to a back three – it would have allowed us to put some of our inventive players into more creative...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Let’s blow our own trumpet for once – come on England!

I’m used to blowing my own trumpet but not when it comes to predictions – I think we’ll get a result against Uruguay, but I thought we’d beat Italy 4-0! You’ve got to be optimistic as an England fan, sometimes it’s blind optimism but if you do what we do you have to believe. I’ve been following England with the band for 18 years now and it has always been the same. Roy Hodgson...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Uruguay may raise their game away from Fortaleza furnace

In the build-up to the World Cup a Uruguayan company launched an imaginative advertising campaign. Draped in a sky blue sheet, the colour of Uruguay’s shorts, the ghost of 1950 wandered around Rio frightening the locals – no one ever here needs reminding that the last time the World Cup was held in Brazil, Uruguay walked off with the trophy. So there was an element of Brazilian joy at Uruguay’s humiliating...
