EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Tickets for the round of 16 and beyond.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but does anyone know what the situation is regarding members getting tickets for the round of 16 and beyond?

I originally had tickets booked / reserved through the supporters club through to the final, but they were cancelled and refunded.

I was then luckily enough to get tickets for all the group games in the ballot.

Any help would be great,

Thanks in advance.

Assuming you're talking about ESTC sourced tickets take a look at the update sent to you on the 23/4/21

Am I right that anyone who was originally allocated a ticket are in the ballot for any Rd 16 game or Quarter final game? But not for any semi or final this is only people who didn’t send there tickets back to uefa?

Anyone know where you stand if you didn’t apply for last 16 tickets given the fact capacity may well be 45k, assuming we win the group? Can we retrospectively apply? Had tickets for a group games, semi and final pre Covid.

    In reply to William Linfoot:

    Dublin was a 51k capacity.

UEFA refunded tickets and sent an email saying that priority would be given to those buyers for the rearranged venue. ESTC only had an initial smallish allocation, but that takes into account that the last 16 could’ve been in numerous venues.

I imagine that a lot of Irish fans may have bought Dublin tickets and have hopefully returned them, leaving some additional tickets available.

From the link I pasted above:

Ballots will be conducted based on the ticket holders who did not choose to return their tickets to UEFA, meaning you will not need to re-apply.  However, should England progress to the Round of 16 and or Quarter Finals, we will conduct the ballots for these matches with all members who were originally successful for tickets, regardless of whether they returned them or not, due to the ambiguity over venues, travel restrictions and ticket refunds

From the link I pasted above it looks as though your scenario (where you didn't apply previously for this L16 but did for other knock outs) and assuming they follow similar rules to the group matches you may still be automatically entered but fall into group 3 for this match. Possibly a sale afterwards if there are any left after groups 1 and 2 are fulfilled?

    Group 1

    - Members who applied, were successful, purchased their tickets and did not return them**

    Group 2

    - Members who applied, were successful, purchased their tickets and returned them to UEFA

    - Members who applied but were unsuccessful

    Group 3

    - Did not initially purchase group stage matches but purchased KO games

    - All remaining ESTC18-20 members

** Group matches and semi-final / final only.  Any ballot conducted for Round of 16 or Quarter Finals will include members who returned tickets to UEFA.

    Do I have to re-apply?

No.  No member will need to re-apply for any tickets.  You will be automatically considered/entered into the ballot.

Please be aware that if you are unsuccessful in the initial ballot, there may still be an opportunity to secure tickets.  Should we receive an increased allocation, or a batch of returned tickets, we will continue to conduct ballots for members who have not been issued a ticket for each match.  There is no need to place your name on a waiting list, you will be automatically considered
