EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Physical souvenir tickets

(I could find the original post from some time ago that covered this so sorry if this has been resolved).

Does anyone know how to request a physical ticket please? This is not for entry but just to keep after?

I have all my England tickets and it’s also my sons first tournament game so want to have these and not just a screen shot of an app!

As part of the original process you could request a physical souvenir ticket(s) within your application that would be posted out a few weeks after the tournament for around €15 from memory.

Thanks in advance.

The €15 souvenir ticket option was available at the original purchase and also repurchase.

I read that someone (who had also missed this option) contacted UEFA and they had been told it wasn't retrospectively possible.

If I were you I'd contact them (UEFA) using the contact form.

Separately I understand discussions are ongoing to hopefully ensure we don't have to pay €15 for each round.

Following the cancellation of all tickets and the re-balloting, you could again request souvenir tickets. The guide to how to complete the ticket purchase is in this FA News Bulletin. It deals with souvenir tickets at step 8.

    Thank you Matthew and David.

Any suggestions for a *friend* who bought two tickets outside of the England travel club as didn’t get any in the ballot (having had originally but lost in re-ballot).

Said friend has tickets but wasn’t original buyer but has them on his phone and app.

    In reply to Mark Robinson:

The souvenir tickets option needs to have been selected by the original buyer at the time of the purchase. If it wasn't then this option can't be added later.

Some people will enter the stadium with genuine paper tickets. These will be people who don't own or have access to a compatible smart phone. They are required to go to the Wembley ticket office on match day with photo ID and evidence of their entitlement to a ticket. You may well find that these used tickets appear on eBay after the match and there may also be souvenir tickets on eBay after the tournament. Although these will not be for your friend's seat at the game, they might satisfy his desire for something for his collection.

Thats a good point David about getting one on ebay after, though it wont feel the same as not your own ticket. It seems that hospitality arent offering one at all according the official hospitality team. But if thats incorrect can somebody please let me know. Thanks.

I saw people today with physical tickets sat near me in a standard area of the stadium so some people must have them.

Looks like no progress has been made on this one as the only option is a further 15 Euros. Just ignored it this time.

Did David get a response from FA on this? I originally asked for souvenirs on my 2019 follow my team ESTC order. Did so for group games but not for R16 as could be £60 extra! I’d be keen to get them should we go all the way but concerned no update has been provided by FA! I shall email and report back!

Still looking and Physical souvenir tickets going for silly money in eBay…

    Eng v Croatia £176 (item 255025173771)

    Eng v Scotland £113 (item 255025176806)

    These went last night. Unbelievable.

I collect football memorabilia and 1966 World Cup final tickets cost less what that Croatia ticket went for!

I’ll keep looking but would be nice if UEFA were able to help fans who attended games but weren’t the original applicant and therefore didn’t click “buy souvenir ticket”

    Almost certainly post tournament.

Indeed if we're hoping to get refunds for each €15 per round we've had to lay out then it would.make sense for them to send them all out together.

I bought a hospitality ticket for the Germany game. There was no option to get a paper ticket as well (shouldve been free ) , and the Uefa hospitality lady didnt seem to have a clue about them.

Did I make a mistake by not selecting physical ticket for Germany?
