UEFA EURO 2020

COVID-19 testing Rome QF

Does anyone know if I take some rapid lateral flow test kits with me (the free self test ones) from England can I use these to gain entry to the stadium? The guidance on the UEFA app just says I need to take a molecular or antigen test but not whether I can use these.

An antigen test is the same as a lateral flow test, just different names

Also remember if you do go you need to quarantine for 10 days so rules out semi and final if we were to get that far

Using the test to release scheme would mean just 5 days, but would mean you miss the semi.
Or pay the fine....not sure if getting to a semi is worth 5-10K however.

For Porto last week I needed to take a PCR test to get into Portugal, a lateral flow test to get in the game and another one to get back in the UK and then another PCR test two days after getting back to the UK.
Bear in mind, you aren’t allowed to use NHS for any of these so you’ll need to buy them and they aren’t cheap. £40 for lateral flow and £60 for PCR.
