EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

PAYING FOR BALLOT TICKETS.

If anyone could help me please.  I was awarded Scotland and Croatia games in the 2nd ballot. I paid for Croatia game first. Then went to pay for Scotland game separately.

On the Scotland ticket it came up ;

"ERROR

Unfortunately the item you have selected is no longer available ".

Do you have to pay for your tickets on same payment,  or can you make 2 separate payments with the 2 different access codes.

Any help advice would be massively appreciated.

Not the same issue but the site seems to keep crashing and not going anywhere for me, tried 6 times now for over an hour, and was going to try doing 1 at a time till I read this. Anyone else having same issues?
I know they extended the period for 1st ballot due to issues, but don't know if anyone from estc will be reading as time frame ends before the Bank Holiday!

A number of people, including me, had problems after the first ballot. They were different problems from yours but they all had the same solution. Wait for 15 minutes and the system re-sets so you can try again. I can't guarantee that this will work, but maybe you couldn't complete payment for your Scotland ticket because you tried to do it within 15 minutes of the Croatia transaction.

Btw, I think you could have bought both of your tickets in the same transaction before going to the payment page by clicking "Add more tickets/matches" at step 5 of the process.

@ Neil Wilson. Try waiting 15 minutes too. Also, I have read elsewhere of people having problems using a laptop but finding that the transaction goes through just fine when they try doing it on their mobile phone.

I had to use Firefox on the laptop as opposed to Chrome/Edge to complete my order. When using the others it would hang or take forever to load pages whereas Firefox went through straight away with no issues

Just confirming that to pay for tickets , do you go to the Uefa ticketing website, go th the 'Tickets ' page, then enter the access code in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. I dont have one yet, just being prepared !

It's hard to give useful advice without sitting down next to you and seeing what you're doing. So, this might be useless advice. Here goes.

    1. Make sure you enter the ticketing site through this portal.
    euro2020-sales.tickets.uefa.com/.../content
Do not enter the portal which is shown in the UEFA website.

    2. Each ticket has it's own access code. Make sure the access code you enter is the one for your Scotland ticket and you are not re-entering the one for your Croatia ticket.

I second Firefox. It went straight through for me on Firefox this morning after trying a multitude of browsers, pc's, phones etc over many hours. The facebook crowd seems to point to Firefox too for success. Uefa's ticket portal just does not work to well with all the common browsers which is strange because their main website says works best with Edge and Chrome

I won a ticket in the second ballot for Eng v Scot, went to pay for it and it all went through fine then cancelled it. Tried going back in to pay for it again and it said “this ticket has been cancelled”
I went back in about 30 mins later and it all went through fine and got my confirmation email.
Not sure if this will help but that’s what I did.

It might sound obvious but try rebooting your pc/ phone. Also clear down any cookies / browsing history you may have. (if your not sure how, just tell us what device your using , and if your using Chrome / Internet explorer etc). Then try again.

blogs: Tim Vickery: Belo Horizonte a fair setting for England’s new beginnings

Last time the World Cup came to Brazil, England went to the city of Belo Horizonte to be humiliated; it is the scene of that notorious 1-0 defeat to the United States. Perhaps humiliation is too strong a word this time. After all, England’s 2014 World Cup campaign has been marked by single goal defeats to former world champions, whereas back in 1950 the pride of the old First Division went down to what essentially...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: England can bounce back if they take a few risks

After the disappointment of the last two games, it’s vital that England take risks against Costa Rica. We don’t need two holding midfielders, Roy Hodgson has to start Adam Lallana over Danny Welbeck and we should switch to three men at the back. There was a clear opportunity against Uruguay and Italy to go to a back three – it would have allowed us to put some of our inventive players into more creative...

I’m used to blowing my own trumpet but not when it comes to predictions – I think we’ll get a result against Uruguay, but I thought we’d beat Italy 4-0! You’ve got to be optimistic as an England fan, sometimes it’s blind optimism but if you do what we do you have to believe. I’ve been following England with the band for 18 years now and it has always been the same. Roy Hodgson...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Uruguay may raise their game away from Fortaleza furnace

In the build-up to the World Cup a Uruguayan company launched an imaginative advertising campaign. Draped in a sky blue sheet, the colour of Uruguay’s shorts, the ghost of 1950 wandered around Rio frightening the locals – no one ever here needs reminding that the last time the World Cup was held in Brazil, Uruguay walked off with the trophy. So there was an element of Brazilian joy at Uruguay’s humiliating...
