EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Will there be a third ballot?

I know this is clutching at straws a bit, but does anyone know if there will be a third ballot?

Thanks.

    Hi Jake,

The FA have said they will continue carrying out ballots until all tickets are sold.

My guess is that there will be probably one more, there won’t be that many tickets left over but I’d imagine there will still be a handful unsold.

Good luck in any future ballots and fingers crossed FA can get a hold of a few more tickets over the coming weeks aswell.

    In reply to Andy Catanach:

If there were around 7-10% unsold in the last ballot out of 3000, that suggests only around 20-30 tickets will be available in a third ballot meaning just 2-3 tickets being available in the 10% pot being chased by over 8000 members!

blogs: Tim Vickery: Can England pass Peru's back three test?

When Peru narrowly failed to make the World Cup in 1998, their coach was Juan Carlos Oblitas, a winger from their side of the late 70s and early 80s. Oblitas remains an important voice in the Peruvian game – and he is not happy with the squad that...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Prototype Peru may prove just as welcoming to England as Wembley itself

Peru have not only been invited to Wembley this Friday to give a South American flavour to England’s World Cup send-off. Presumably, the idea is that the fans will go home happy and the team will get a pre-tournament morale boost. Only goal difference...
