EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

TICKET PURCHASE

Is anyone else struggling to get through the ticket purchasing process ?  I get as far as putting mine and mates access code in, adding his name (modify ticket holder) and then after pressing continue it says loading with the circle turning -  after 20 minutes times me out.

Am i doing something wrong ?

On the 'Beneficiaries' page I think you have to put in your own details as the lead booker. The screen will then show all tickets in your name. At that stage, click 'modify name' next to the first ticket which is not yours and put in your mate's personal details. Then click 'modify name' against each other ticket which is not yours and select your mate's name from the drop down list.

I don't know for certain, but if you click 'modify name' and put in your mate's details before you have keyed in your own personal details, then maybe the system does a wobbly and falls over. It's worth a try.

Anyone else having issues with the error message that says "Sorry, the selected number of tickets cannot be added to the shopping cart: the maximum quantity allowed is 1."??

I have followed the guide step by step and assigned unique details to each ticket, but still getting this error.

If anyone has a fix it would be much appreciated.

    Cheers!

TBH I'm not completely sure, it just worked after I started it off from scratch again.

Just make sure you are using the unique access codes (you should have had one different one each emailed to you) and not accidentally using the same one twice. Can be a bit misleading as it leaves the first access code in the box when you go to buy the second ticket, think this may have been what I was doing.

Thanks. I managed to add all of his details to the order but like you said I just got the error message “maximum quantity allowed 1”. Did you basically do what you did initially and it worked ?

    In reply to Steven Taylor:

So, think my issue was that I was accidentally trying to use the same access code for both tickets.

Reason being, when you go back to add the second ticket to the booking, the access code box automatically pre-populates with the one that you used for the first ticket. You need to make sure to clear that code out and use the unique access code that your son will have received via email to add the second ticket. This should be different to the one that you used to add the first ticket.

The proccess is then the same (adding name, DoB, FAN and passport number), but it should let you through to the payment screen this time.

If you and your mate both got tickets for the same match then proceed like this. On the first page of the process, enter your access code for the match and just ask for 1 ticket. Follow through on the questions and boxes until you have successfully put that ticket in your 'cart'. Then click 'add more tickets / matches'. The system puts you back to the access code input page. Delete your own access code and key in your mate's access code for the same match. Then go through the same process again, asking for 1 ticket.

Keep repeating this process for all of the matches for which you have tickets. Then click 'buy' and it will take you to the next stage in the process.

The retention of the previous access code between requesting each addition of a guest is definitely not ideal.

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Youth or experience for second Miami test?

The game against Honduras tonight is the final chance for a player to stake their claim for that World Cup opener against Italy next Saturday, and warm-up matches are key - just look at Michael Owen at France 98. The build-up to this tournament and that one 16 years ago is similar in many ways because there was a lot of experience in that England squad that I played in, and Michael really burst onto the scene. It was...

blogs: David Stone: Marvellous Miami is just like I pictured it

I've been to the US a few times before, but Miami really lives up to every cultural stereotype you can think of. It's big, bright and brash, not to mention full of hordes of identically-dressed, beautiful people. I’ve been to watch the Miami Marlins, the city's baseball team, in a local derby against the Tampa Bay Rays. While the stadium itself was two-thirds empty, the dozen or so England fans there...
