EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Thought it was 22,000 a game - Yet EFC only get 3,000?

3,086 and 2,968 for each first two games in a ground of 22,000? Is this still the 10% rule, even when away fans, sponsors and Hospitality are still under an element of Lockdown??

And also thought Czech game was a full house after June 21st, so why only 2,855 allocation and not 9,000?

(in reply to Brett) I, too, forgot to mention the NHS tag.

Lots of us have done work throughout the pandemic for the NHS and their partners.

Frankly I'd find it a little distasteful to use that for much leverage.

Managed to get all 3 games in Cat 2, rather than my original Category 3 for every game of the tournament. I’m on 38 caps & attended all but 2 qualifiers. I won’t be sat with nor anywhere near my mates that I always do England games with, I have no complaints whatsoever.
Yet the entitlement online from those on very low cap levels is astounding as it is hilarious. Roll on Qatar eh!

& maybe if those 5,000 away tickets for Kosovo had landed, we’d have all been in a slightly more favourable position :D

My son & I had all group games, semi & final if we got there. Now I have a Ticket for the Czech game & my son has nothing.
Absolutely disgusted that the travel club have only 3000 tickets in a 20000 attendance.
As long as the FA executives & their hangers on get their tickets, they don’t give a jot for the loyal fans.
Will not be rejoining the travel club.

Don’t you mean UEFA rather than FA? Not sure what any of this has to do with the FA…

It's UEFA that set the allocations not the FA.

Looking at the way the Indian variant is spreading I guess we should be grateful for having any fans in Wembley this summer. Scottish Cup final is now behind closed doors (although the original allocation was miniscule).

Carl, i guess more sponsors and UEFA worthies were interested in these games so the real fans % was reduced.

blogs: Tim Vickery: Can England pass Peru's back three test?

When Peru narrowly failed to make the World Cup in 1998, their coach was Juan Carlos Oblitas, a winger from their side of the late 70s and early 80s. Oblitas remains an important voice in the Peruvian game – and he is not happy with the squad that...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Prototype Peru may prove just as welcoming to England as Wembley itself

Peru have not only been invited to Wembley this Friday to give a South American flavour to England’s World Cup send-off. Presumably, the idea is that the fans will go home happy and the team will get a pre-tournament morale boost. Only goal difference...
