EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

New allocation!

So our new allocation is 75% less than the original one.  Not hard to work out that it's now around about 3 thousand tickets per group game assuming the capacity stays at 22,500. The answer I'd like to know if anybody does is..........

Is each category getting stripped by 75% so it's easy to work out what we'll have in each category.  ( for instance ) cat 3 was nearly 8k so would be just under 2k or do we think they'll just drop lots of cat 3 tickets and heavily stack the 3k into cat 1 prices. This is UEFA after all. Hope that makes sense to someone. ‍♀️

As it stands the short answer is we don’t know. Would assume/ hope it is reduced accordingly. Fingers crossed should find out not long after The FA get the info from UEFA on capacities.

Pure supposition based on a 25% share of previous category splits but this should be the group stage split.

    Group Games:
    Cat 3- 1970 tickets
    Cat 2-617
    Cat 1- 347

Yeah that's what i was working out at ( give or take a ticket ) which is based on each section of the original allocation being deducted 75%. Was just wondering if that's how its gonna be or will UEFA be sending three thousand tickets but mainly cat 1 tickets. If it's like you've put and I'd worked out then I'd still be in the top 70% for cat 3. Which obviously I'm hoping remains the case.

Yeah I mean it’s UEFA so all bets are off. They can say football is for the fans all they like and complain about the greed of the ESL but they will still stiff us at every opportunity they get if there’s a fiver in it for them.

    Thanks for this rough guess.
I’m on 52 caps and my lad 40, so think 40 caps will get in top 1800 so he maybe ok with cheap tickets like originally allocated. Fingers crossed. Anyone else got any predictions , great. Can’t wait for it. Thanks

I think it may be slightly lower than 40 caps.
Remember it is only for people who kept their tickets.
Their are quite a few who returned them, added to those who either didn't apply or got tickets from UEFA and it will drop down a few places.
However I have a feeling UEFA may change how many we get in each category!!

blogs: Sue Smith: Never mind the heat, it’s the humidity that gets you

Everyone’s talking about the temperature and humidity in Manaus and of course it’s going to affect the players, but they will have gone through every method to make sure they are in the best possible condition to cope. I was reading that they were in saunas on their breaks and wearing jackets in training and that’s the same sort of things we tried to do in China at the 2007 World Cup. People talk...

blogs: David Stone: Roy's Q & A embraces the fans

Following Wednesday's match we spent the evening out with a load of Ecuador supporters in the Clevelander club on South Beach. Interestingly enough, every member of their group lived in the US and had flown into Miami because it was a chance to see Premier League players. I suspect this was the case with most of the Ecuadorean support, living up to the saying 'you've only come to see the England!' The...
