    In reply to Matthew Davys:

Based on these figures I believe that these would be the category breakdowns for the R16 and the QF at 25% based on the original:

    Last 16:
    Cat 3- 502
    Cat 2- 342
    Cat 1- 348
    Wheelchair: 3-4
    Easy 19

    Quater Final:
    Cat 3- 863
    Cat 2- 203
    Cat 1- 180

However With Wembley now potentially holding one of our options for the last 16 I would expect that figure to improve to similar or beyond the group stages should we top the group and end up there. Entirely supposition but that’s what most of this is.

Yes Andy, I’m sure it’s so that UEFA can charge another booking fee when they sell them again!

I didn’t tick the box accepting other price categories during the original application. Obviously, with the allocations being as they are now, I would’ve done. Am I right in thinking that that doesn’t matter now? And that applicants will be offered tickets in other categories should their original choice be over subscribed?

It doesn't matter now, you will be offered a ticket or not based on email of 11/03/21. You buy or don't buy based on cost and availability of your bottom on a plastic red seat.

Will non members (not renewed membership) still be in the new ballots?

    In reply to Carl Rooke:

I can't see this question explicitly addressed anywhere in the FA blurb. My understanding and belief is that you don't need to have renewed your membership for 2020-22 in order to be eligible for the ballots. You just need to hold tickets from the spring 2020 ballots.

    Correct.
Didn't have to renew to still go to this tournament, therdore only stipulation to be in the ballot is that you had tickets and haven't returned them

Am sure a few might mate BUT the bigger picture is Germany in 2024 which will be back to being in the summer and in a single country that's just superb.

Tickets will be oversubscribed hugely. Starting to collect caps now will be essential for tickets - let alone cheap tickets.

It’s a great point Michael, sadly the fans of the teams who are actually playing are well down the pecking order. Almost a begrudging allocation. And that’s even before Covid-19!

I was lucky enough at the time to get a cat 1 ticket along with a few mates for the Scotland game ( before we knew who we were playing) went for cat 1 on the off chance we got them. And for you guys who have done all the miles and gone to all the games this is a a farce. Uefa have the cheek to criticise the super league ( I’m also completely against that as well) but uefa have absolutely no connection or idea about the fans and continue to S**t on fans who do the hard yards.

Is this trail full of FA toadies.
I had tickets to every England game in the tournament.
Now I have none with little likelihood of getting any.
I think the FA consultation must have carried out in a Top Cappers group.

blogs: Sue Smith: England’s forward focus can rattle Uruguay

Before every tournament most people are guilty of thinking a bit higher of England than they probably should - me included, I thought we would beat Italy 2-0! But despite the result I think we must take lots of positives from the performance. It was great to see the players actually go for it in the match and I thought we were quite entertaining. Raheem Sterling was great - every time he got the ball he looked dangerous...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Deny Luis Suarez space and England can prevail

How do you stop Luis Suarez? The key for England will be communication and getting tighter defensively than they did against Italy. There was an uncertainty and a vulnerability to England's defence, particularly down the left, on Saturday night...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Even Balotelli’s fiancée knows this band on the run

There is no better place to be as the leader of England’s band than at a World Cup in Brazil – but the one downside is we don’t know if we’ll be allowed to play inside the stadiums! This country has two loves, music and football...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Brazil-Spain jostles for position as football's new super-rivalry

Now might be a good time to remind everyone that Spain lost their first match in the last World Cup – and look what happened to them! And so, to take our minds off the result in Manaus, I decided to have a look at one of world football’s most...

blogs: Adrian Bevington: The connection between England’s players and fans at a World Cup cannot be overestimated

Even now I can recall it perfectly. Lucio stumbled and miscontrolled when heading towards his own goal, and Michael Owen seized the moment. I knew at that point, in Shizuoka in 2002, that Michael would score. And I have to confess that at that moment I really did think we are going to win the World Cup. It is an emotion that takes over you, and although it didn’t turn out to be correct, one of the great pleasures...
