Between 37/38 caps but this figure depends on:

    Exact allocation.

Exact cat split (e.g. If the FA will break groups including minors)

How many cancelled their group tickets.

That's every member though, right? There's always some who don't apply, so it might be slightly lower... hopefully!

That would be for the whole allocation?
43/44 caps for 70% assuming everybody above applied for the Wembley games

Correct - that's to guarantee. Some members won't have applied so that might reduce this part. But other caveats above may raise it.

If tickets ( mobile tkts ) for knockouts can be arranged in 4 days im hoping when not if the government relaxes its guidelines earlier than June 21st that UEFA and Team England will be able to release more tickets

I think the ‘old’ caps table needs to be accessible somewhere as my caps total is now the new figure.

    No.

Assuming we are now going to get 3k tickets for group games.

37/38 equates to the top 2070 - 2112 of members on the 26/12/20.

To guarantee these top 70% of members we'd need between 2957 - 3017 tickets.

    Again with the caveats above.

Estimating where the caps cut off would be is problematical. The ballot for each match is only going to include members who currently hold tickets for that match, not the whole membership. To make an estimate, we would need to know the caps sub-table of ticket holding members for each match. The profile of this sub-table is unlikely to match the profile of the full caps table because members who were successful in last year's ballots would be skewed towards higher cappers.

blogs: Tim Vickery: A World Cup in every sense

Two World Cup Finals are being replayed in this week’s 2014 semi finals. The Germans seek revenge for their 2-0 defeat in 2002 when they meet Brazil – amazingly only the second time these giants have ever met in the tournament. And Holland were the closest – so far – a European team has ever come to winning the World Cup in South America when they hit the post with almost the last kick of normal...

blogs: Sue Smith: England can bounce back

There’s no doubt England can bounce back – the women’s team did it after the 2007 World Cup by going all the way in Euro 2009. Although we lost against Germany in the final of those Euros, there was a sense of achievement and progress...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Cool-hand Luke can handle price-tag

Having a hefty price tag can weight heavy on your shoulders – it certainly did for me when I moved back to Chelsea in 1997 for £5.5m. At the time I was the most expensive English defender and there was a lot of pressure that came with that. I found it quite hard and Luke Shaw now finds himself in a similar position after moving to Manchester United for £30m. It does make you look at things differently...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: It’s time to give England’s players a break

There’s no doubt England’s players will be disappointed with the way things panned out in Brazil, but they deserve a break after the mentally exhausting season they have all had. They’ll feel like they are coming home prematurely because going into these tournaments you always think that you’re good enough to progress, so to lose their first two games and be out of the World Cup this early will...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Fresh faces give us cause for hope

In my years following England I’ve seen some great players come and go – and teams rise and fall. I can say with pride that I saw every game David Beckham played for England and I have also been privileged enough to have seen all of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard’s appearances. Watching the Costa Rica match it was hard to think that it might be both of their final appearances. I remember Gerrard...
