The FSA should exist exactly for this type of situation...lets face it they get enough taxpayers money.
Need some input from their legal team.

This doesn't look to be the case when you attempt a refund. You can select any single ticket for a return and specifically says at the top of the page:

Please select the tickets you would like to return. You can return any number of tickets per match.

If you would like to return tickets for more than one match, you will need to complete separate returns for each match.

The FAQ's section for "I would like to return my tickets (fully or partially), because I cannot attend the tournament/or some of the matches of the tournament in 2021. What do I do?" says:

"Please select the tickets you would like to return. You can return any number of tickets per match. Please note that the ticket buyer cannot return his/her own ticket without returning all his/her guests’ tickets for the required match.
If you would like to return tickets for more than one match, you will need to complete a separate return request for each match."

So my understanding is; if Barry, Bob and Bill are a group and Barry was the purchaser, then basically as soon as Barry decides he wants a refund on any game(s), Bob and Bill's tickets are also refunded.
But Barry could also decide to keep his own ticket(s) but refund Bob and/or Bill's, if they so wished.

That applies to every individual game, the three of them have tickets as a group for. With each game being treated as a separate refund request.

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: Youth or experience for second Miami test?

The game against Honduras tonight is the final chance for a player to stake their claim for that World Cup opener against Italy next Saturday, and warm-up matches are key - just look at Michael Owen at France 98. The build-up to this tournament and that one 16 years ago is similar in many ways because there was a lot of experience in that England squad that I played in, and Michael really burst onto the scene. It was...

blogs: David Stone: Marvellous Miami is just like I pictured it

I've been to the US a few times before, but Miami really lives up to every cultural stereotype you can think of. It's big, bright and brash, not to mention full of hordes of identically-dressed, beautiful people. I’ve been to watch the Miami Marlins, the city's baseball team, in a local derby against the Tampa Bay Rays. While the stadium itself was two-thirds empty, the dozen or so England fans there...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Honduras and Professor Suarez lie in wait for Hodgson's hopefuls

The fitness of the Uruguay striker permitting, England have a date with Luis Suarez on 19 June. First, though, comes an encounter with his namesake on Saturday. Honduras are coached by Luis Fernando Suarez – a man who England fans have cause to...

blogs: Sue Smith: Striking a balance is key during a World Cup

Building up to a major international tournament is strange because you’ve spent so long preparing and then all of a sudden you’re playing in a World Cup – you don’t even think about it you just do your job. I would like to think...

blogs: Marios Papaloizou: Football’s friendly fire is my favourite time of year

Somewhere in-between the nerve-racking qualifying campaigns and the unbearable tension that surrounds a major tournament there occasionally lies a perfect storm of happy sentiment that surrounds the England team. Whether it's Peter Crouch's robot...
