UEFA EURO 2020

Copenhagen 50/50 chances of hosting euros

According to a couple of articles I read Copenhagen say they have a 50/50 chance of hosting the euros as they are one of the city’s due too host the Tour de France, also read Hampden could possibly step in and host more games due too Bilbao and Rome venues also behind doubtful  , all host city have to inform uefa by 30th April if they can host the competition in 2021..

Cant see it being behind close doors hopefully by january we can watch football together again it would be a travesty for many clubs if all next season was behind closed doors as a fan of a non league team i dont think our club and many others would survive without the income fans generate but at the minute all what matters is keeping safe a key moment will be if london marathon goes ahead in october if that happens then i cant see why football cant have fans again

It seems that the three host cities yet to fully sign up might be Copenhagen, Amsterdam and London. It now looks like Copenhagen are ok. London is expected to fully commit as soon as some local contractual issues have been signed off. Just leaving Amsterdam as the biggest issue. Maybe.

Read somewhere recently that Amsterdam and Copenhagen are the two cities having issues. So hopefully Wembley has resolved its issues? Can't believe it won't with seven games incl. semis and final scheduled there. Copenhagen is supposed to be ok now too, so maybe it's just Amsterdam?

Amsterdam confirmed that they are ok today. So...hopefully every venue can still host in 2021, and by then every seat in the stadiums can be filled. No more social distancing.
