EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Taking missus to the finals

I have 34 caps while my missus has 3.

I am going to apply for tickets to all games with cat 3 and 2.

Is there going to be a situation where I miss out on games because my girlfriend has little caps? Obviously I’d rather have it where I get a ticket even if she doesn’t.

How do I go about my application? Sorry if this has already been asked I just want a definitive answer.

Cheers, Danny

    Hi Daniel

    See the FAQ

    www.thefa.com/.../euro-2020-faqs

and specifically the bit below. Then link group IDs (these are generated after you submit the first application):

Members of my group have different caps totals; will we all be successful with our application?

We encourage fans who are on similar caps levels to apply together. However, top and low cappers are encouraged to apply separately and for a different category in order to stand a good chance of being successful.

    For example:

Lead member Ben has 52 caps and applies for category 3 tickets. Jordan and Harry have 16 caps each and apply with Ben for category 3 tickets. It is likely that Ben will be successful in his application but Jordan and Harry will not be allocated tickets (due to their caps level). Therefore, we would strongly advise that Ben apply on his own for category 3 tickets (or with others on a similar caps level) and Jordan and Harry apply separately for a category 1 or 2 ticket (and check the box to say that they would accept a different category). Therefore, all three members have a better chance of being allocated tickets - albeit separately

I'm the same but add my 2 kids to that too. I've applied for all 4 of us on the same application with the lowest priced category for each. Fully expecting them to miss out on some but I should be OK for all on 43 caps.
