Are your mates both members of the Travel Club ? Everyone on the application must be Travel Club members.

Have your mates received emails containing an access code ? Although you don't need their access codes for your application, if they haven't received access codes then this would suggest either that they're not Travel Club members or they've joined recently and their membership has not yet been notified to UEFA.

As you say that their membership numbers have not been used, presumably this means they are not also guests on someone else's application.

The ESTC membership number is definitely validated against some sort of database as when I wrongly pasted a passport number in it gave the same error.

Possibly double check the membership number with no spaces afterwards.

    Good luck

    Thank you.
I believe I see the problem.
Because I set up both of our account . On estc membership I put the wrong DOB my mistake.
So when I’m typing the correct DOB on uefa they must not match on the database.
Do I use the wrong DOB on uefa or try and get the correct one on estc account set up? And how would I do that?
Any help would be greatly appreciate.

    In reply to Marc Beech:

    This sounds credible.

I suppose you could temporarily use the wrong DOB on the UEFA website.

This will, at least, prove your theory and see if you're able to proceed.

If this is the case then contact the ESTC team (ensuring you reference all the fan IDs, dobs, names etc) in the morning and advise them of the problem. Be up front that it's your error - they're good people.

Can you feedback on this thread the result so we can help others too.

You have plenty of time to resolve this so don't worry too much but continue to be proactive.

I've had a similar issue. My UEFA account has my DOB as 2 years incorrect from when I made an account for the Nations League, possibly a typo from me or UEFA, I'm not sure. However I had no trouble getting Nations League tickets. Therefore when I go to apply for tickets it's saying my FAN number is invalid or already used. When I called ESTC they said the DOB being wrong will be the issue as the UEFA details have to be matched against a data upload the ESTC do.

I actually contacted UEFA around 3 weeks ago to attempt to get this fixed, and they said they had; low and behold nothing has been changed. So I'm waiting for the ESTC to help me out on this one.

Does anyone know if in this instance, if one of my mates applies and adds me as a guest, if they put in my correct DOB (as it is on ESTC) it will work? As the only incorrect info is on my UEFA account.

Guests don't need to have their own UEFA.com account. This implies that any error in your own account would have no effect if you were a guest on someone else's application. This solution should work. You can always try it and see whether the application goes through. You can always amend or cancel the application later, if you get the error on your own UEFA.com account corrected.

Actually managed to find a bit on the UEFA site (nowhere near the ticketing section) where you can edit your own personal details, so I've finally managed to change it on there and get our application submitted successfully! God knows how I managed to put my own DOB in wrong when I made my account, but very glad it's sorted.

The ESTC team have put an update in this DOB issue on their FB page.

If you've entered your UEFA DOB wrongly in your profile there are instructions how you can change this yourself.

If you've entered your ESTC membership DOB wrongly in your profile you need to contact the ESTC team.

Thanks for the reply Matthew. Just read this on the Facebook group after having found it myself, looks like all is sorted.

I've also emailed ESTC and UEFA to let them know they don't need to do anything about it having been in contact with both. It was wrong on UEFA, and is correct on ESTC.

Really unsure as to how I've managed to put it in correctly when I made the account but seeing how many others are experiencing this issue it proves that typos of this sort are very common! I'll be very careful in future when submitting a profile on any site haha.

Looks as though youre not alone Dexter - seems to be dozens of others who've forgotten their DOB too. On FB especially people kicking off...

The good thing is it's easily resolvable and you can have a smile at yourself.

blogs: Tim Vickery: Belo Horizonte a fair setting for England’s new beginnings

Last time the World Cup came to Brazil, England went to the city of Belo Horizonte to be humiliated; it is the scene of that notorious 1-0 defeat to the United States. Perhaps humiliation is too strong a word this time. After all, England’s 2014 World Cup campaign has been marked by single goal defeats to former world champions, whereas back in 1950 the pride of the old First Division went down to what essentially...

blogs: Graeme Le Saux: England can bounce back if they take a few risks

After the disappointment of the last two games, it’s vital that England take risks against Costa Rica. We don’t need two holding midfielders, Roy Hodgson has to start Adam Lallana over Danny Welbeck and we should switch to three men at the back. There was a clear opportunity against Uruguay and Italy to go to a back three – it would have allowed us to put some of our inventive players into more creative...

blogs: John Hemmingham: Let’s blow our own trumpet for once – come on England!

I’m used to blowing my own trumpet but not when it comes to predictions – I think we’ll get a result against Uruguay, but I thought we’d beat Italy 4-0! You’ve got to be optimistic as an England fan, sometimes it’s blind optimism but if you do what we do you have to believe. I’ve been following England with the band for 18 years now and it has always been the same. Roy Hodgson...

blogs: Tim Vickery: Uruguay may raise their game away from Fortaleza furnace

In the build-up to the World Cup a Uruguayan company launched an imaginative advertising campaign. Draped in a sky blue sheet, the colour of Uruguay’s shorts, the ghost of 1950 wandered around Rio frightening the locals – no one ever here needs reminding that the last time the World Cup was held in Brazil, Uruguay walked off with the trophy. So there was an element of Brazilian joy at Uruguay’s humiliating...
