EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

A Q I can't find the A for.

Forgive me if this been asked before. But what is the difference between a 'Fans First ' and a Category 3 ticket except the obvious...110 euros for a semi and 200 euros for a final!!

Do us 'loyal fans' get the option of being 'fans first' or are for example members on 50 plus caps etc going to be *** on for their loyalty?

Ie Fans 2nd (or last)

According to UEFA's FAQs, there is literally no difference between a 'Fans First' ticket to the semi-final or final and a category 3 ticket other than price.

The UEFA team-specific FAQs mention 'Fans First' tickets, implying that they will be available for England fans. I don't have a huge amount of confidence that the UEFA FAQs are accurate. I think they've largely been copied and pasted from the FAQs for the general public sale. We'll see on Wednesday.

For the purposes of the FA allocating 'Fans First' tickets, one would assume that they would just treat them as if they were a category 4. So, first dibs goes to the higher cappers. If you tick that you are willing to be moved one category if your first choice is sold out, it's not clear whether 'Fans First' would be moved up to category 3 or whether, because they are actually the same tickets at a cheaper price, you could be moved to category 2.
