EURO 2020

UEFA EURO 2020

Buying as a group

Hello

Apologies in advance if the answer to my question is obvious- I haven't bought tickets as a travel club member before.

My son and I are both now travel club members, with his account linked to mine as a junior.  I'd like to apply for tickets for us for Euro 2020 but from what I can see, each member can only apply as an individual. Is there a way to apply together? He's only 13 so can't go on his own, and I wouldn't want to go without him as it would be a bit cruel for him to stay at home while his mum gets to go!

Any ideas how it works? I have more caps than him so presumably a higher chance of getting a ticket.

Thank you!

Hi David if you apply in a group does the whole application have to be with one payment,i.e. credit card, or can we each use our own
    Cheers

That's a good question which you might have to submit to UEFA themselves. It depends on whether the payment software has been set up to allow part payments which will be aggregated towards the required total.

My guess would be that the system will expect the full payment in one go, in which case you would have to use one payment card. You will have a window of opportunity of several days in which to pay for the tickets. So you can arrange for your mates to pay you back simultaneously. But you would need a big enough credit limit on your card for the whole order.

Remember also that if we don't qualify for a knock out round then any refund for the tickets will go to the payment card registered on the lead booker's UEFA ticket account.

Thought we'd get a few more for the group games than 12k tbh. I'd say zero cappers still have a chance of picking some tickets up. Not everyone above them in the table will apply, e.g I'm planning on missing the last group game to save some money/holidays. Also if we end up playing teams with smaller followings the FA may be able to pick up a few extra tickets.

I wonder now the allocations are revealed not many more zero cappers will join the travel club knowing they might be paying £75 for nothing in return
