After the shambles of last night, quite frankly... we do not deserve to host a home tournament in this country until the security at Wembley is giving a complete overhaul.

When we went to Russia, you had private security, Fifa volunteers, the police and the military all carrying out proper ticket/person checks on everyone at certain checkpoints. It all went very quickly and without fuss.

The scenes yesterday at Wembley were truly ridiculous, from how easy it was for people to get into the stadium for free to random fights breaking out between stewards and fans. What's the point in collecting the caps now when you can just waltz in un-challenged? It was good to see some honest England fans challenging these free loaders but it shouldn't be their job.

The current security arrangements are not fit for purpose. Something needs to happen.

Prices

Uefa accused the super league clubs of being greedy, and I agreed, but these final ticket prices are horrendous, cat 1 nearly a grand for members it is a disgrace

R16 and QFs outside UK

Pretty much given up on these now. Probably should have a long time ago.. Even if any of the host countries turn Green around the 29th (unlikely) then taking two tests is probably not worth the risk. EU COVID certificate becomes valid from 1st July but UK very unlikely to be accepting it. If there is a relaxation of rules for fans coming to UK for the Semis then would be a bit mean if England fans returning from a QF abroad had to quarantine (if still Amber) but foreign fans arriving for the Semi didn't. Govt deny this is being considered anyway.
Does any one know if Croatia have sold their allocation? Will they be allowed to travel....could they have been sold to Croatians living here.

If not wo has got them?

Surely ESTC should take preference over General Sale? So, if there are 10,000 tickets available after the "Football Family" then the entirety should be awarded to ESTC members.

We have put the miles in over the years to earn them, we even sat through the dross that was the "Rooney Special" USA game to earn caps.

Yet, we will potentially lose our seats to someone who hasn't been to any games but just happened to log on to their computer at the right time and got awarded them through the UEFA General Sale.

Doesn't make sense to me at all.

Euro 2021 Tickets - stick or twist?

I've just read UEFA's latest reminder that the final date for optional return of tickets is 22nd April. Things may be a bit clearer by then, but who knows what the situation will be in June and July? So we could find ourselves still holding valid tickets for a knock-out match somewhere like St Petersburg, but be barred from travelling there and lose a few hundred quid. Are others planning to return any tickets or just keep fingers crossed? Having already booked accommodation for Middlesborough, I guess I'll stick and hope.

Copenhagen 50/50 chances of hosting euros

According to a couple of articles I read Copenhagen say they have a 50/50 chance of hosting the euros as they are one of the city’s due too host the Tour de France, also read Hampden could possibly step in and host more games due too Bilbao and Rome venues also behind doubtful , all host city have to inform uefa by 30th April if they can host the competition in 2021..

Win box tickets to England v Slovakia

Who fancies watching England v Slovakia from the luxury of a Wembley Stadium executive box with food and drink provided?

Win a Nike Ordem 4 match-day football

The Nike Ordem 4 Football is the most innovative, technologically advanced and aerodynamically tuned ball in the market to date.

Meet John Barnes & Don Hutchinson

Going to England v Scotland on Friday 11 November?
