Has anyone ever had an issue with not being allocated their caps for a match at Wembley?
I attended the Italy match with my daughter and there was a problem at the turnstile but eventually we managed to get in and see the match.
When the caps were allocated I didn't receive my caps. I contacted the ESTC and was told that "Neither ticket under order number X were scanned at the turnstiles – attendances are recorded via the tickets (that have been assigned to fans) being scanned at the turnstiles and then the caps are applied."
I understand it's only 2 caps but I don't want to miss out on matches in future for the sake of 2 caps. If I'd been on 24 caps now it would have been the difference of getting a ticket for Belgium now, or not.
If you bought any food or drink inside the stadium, this has to be paid for by card now. As far as I can tell, cash is no longer accepted. So, the transaction will show on your card statement, proving that you were inside the stadium on that date. The merchant shows as 'Delaware North', the sole provider of food and drink services in Wembley stadium.
